We are a small, new family farm with goats, chickens, and a few horse stalls, as well as plenty of pasture. We use horse manure for our orchards and to keep our pastureland healthy, and we grow fresh fruit and vegetables. Many of our projects and passions are just getting started- we've had plenty of time to work during COVID, but we've only been here since October of 2019. Still, in that time we'
ve built a driveway, fire pit, planted an orchard, repaired fencing, installed new barn doors and siding, and built a compost pit. We offer board in 10x12 stalls with hay, grain, plenty of bedding and grass, and the ability to supplement a horse's diet with anything they might require. We have plenty of space for treats and supplements. We offer turnout and blanketing for all boarders. Our barn manager is trained in equine/equestrian management, and is familiar with horse first aid and care. Our family has a cumulative 50 years of experience with horses and caring for your animals. Our barn manager is also a skilled horse trainer and riding instructor, who specializes in side saddle and hunter/jumpers. She has a special passion for working with thoroughbreds and ponies, and lives on site. We do not require you use us for horse training or lessons, but we do require proof of insurance if you bring your own trainer. We have a beautiful, well lit outdoor arena that was re-footed at the end of the summer, and lots of space to ride on nearby trails or just on the farm or around the neighborhood. Membership in the Pittstown trail association is required to use the nearby private trail network, but we are a short haul away from the Landsdown Trail Network and Quakertown Preserve. For amenities, we have a heated tack room with a padlock and your own unique ID code. We have wifi in the barn, and cameras in each stall so you can check on your horse even when you aren't here, and a gorgeous patio you are more than welcome to use. We have plenty of well lit parking. Each stall has a fan for horses in the summer, and blanket bars for their gear. Future improvements include:
Individual run ins for stall boarders
Rubber paving bricks on the inside aisle
Pasture board in the back field- a three acre meadow
Nelson automatic waterers
