Fun little adventure this week. Just got out for a short walk, but the weather was beautiful and Emmy REALLY enjoyed the patch of cat mint she found 💚

We had a very big weekend at the lake for Labor Day. Emmylou spent a lot of time in her glamping catio and went on three different lake adventures! Her favorite was definitely taking the canoe with the trolling motor up the river that feeds into the lake at sunset (even if we did take along the annoying little brother).

It was pretty cold and rainy, but we still had a fun Memorial Day at the lake! Emmylou very much approves of getting a trolling motor for the canoe. And she has become a very good fishing suPURRvisor 😹

Big adventures camping at the lake this weekend! Lots of canoeing and exploring the lakefront and we even found a huge sandbar to run around on!

Probably one of the most “Asheville” things we enjoy doing is going to see the Montford Park Players, North Carolina’s longest running Shakespeare festival. Every weekend evening in the summer, you can pack up a picnic and go to enjoy an evening under the stars watching live theatre (and it’s free - you pay what you can in donations). Emmy really seems to enjoy watching the actors on stage from the comfort of her stroller. If you’re ever in Asheville, I think it’s a must-do activity (with or without an adventure cat).
