A special little cage-free, cat-only, absolutely no-kill shelter in Rappahannock County, VA. Our cats are in rooms w/windows & toys, & receive lots of LOVE!

We can adopt to any location, but we can only take in cats from Rappahannock County residents. RappCats is a nonprofit that rescues, cares for, and finds loving homes for stray, abandoned, injured, neglected, abused, and feral cats. www.RappCats.org 540-987-6050

Savior has been adopted by our Shelter Manager, Lesley Jenkins. Let's make him America's Favorite Pet! If he is the winner, his plans are to support their Spay and Neuter Fund. Voting starts January 6th and continues to March 13th. There's a free vote once per day. The only thing is that a vote needs to be cast every single day. So, set your alarms for reminders 🥰. There's different categories: Tp 20, Top 15, Top 10, Top 5, Group Finals, Wild Round, Quarterfinals, Simi Finals, and finally: Finals.

On this last day of 2024 we are grateful for many things! One is the kind vet who called us to shelter 12yr old Savior instead of euthanizing him. Savior arrived unfixed, FIV+, in need of dental surgery/relief, and eyes that were mere slits. He was exhausted. Now look at him! Wide eyed and bushy tailed and a TOTAL lovebug! If you'd like to help other cats like Savior, we have a special medical fund named "Lulu's Fund" (after Lulu, who needed major surgery and is adopted & doing GREAT!)

We have some sweet foster babies that have one wish: "To find their forever homes by the new year". Lil Pea, Alfalfa, and Bean are approximately 6.5 months old. Little Dali is 9 months. Dali is shy and will take a little bit of time for feel comfortable in a new environment but her cuteness is worth the wait.
