We have had so many fun lessons over the last week or so! From playing in the XC/Trail Obstacle area to riding different horses to riding new disciplines!

Carrying on the tradition of having a Thanksgiving Potluck before we left for our break at Boshears! I am so thankful to have a great staff who care so much for the kids and the ponies...and know how to cook 😉 Just a reminder that GRIT will be closed to all lesson clients (lease clients are still welcome to come out) this week from Thursday - Sunday so we can spend time with our families 🥰

What a fabulous last H/J show of the 2024 season! We always love showing at ETHJC and can't wait for next year

Big Congratulations to our girls who showed at the NTHJC Year End Show! It was a huge show with about 300 horses and class sizes of 20-45! While our youngest competitor was scratched due to a misbehaving pony (as ponies sometime like to do), the rest of our team showed very successfully!

Ava pulled a 6th over fences in WTC Crossrails at her 2nd show ever at TRHP in massive classes!

Peyton won 18" EQ Reserve Champion with Rockit and pulled two 6ths on Kizzy in WTC Crossrails!

Grayson had her best Puddles class to date and snagged a 6th out of 27 in the Futures Classic!

Even Kat got an award, winning "Trainer of the Day" at the Fairfield Ring!

Our last H/J show of the season is next weekend in Greenville with ETHJC - we hope everyone had a fun weekend and has a great Monday!

It's the Year End show for the NTHJC at Texas Rose Horse Park this weekend! Come support our riders on Saturday and Sunday. It's going to be a huge show with 5 active rings and the Derby on Sunday morning. ☀️

Our arena dried up relatively quickly so we were able to do lessons today! That being said, with the time change, half of them were in the dark 😂 Hopefully we'll manage to sneak some more in before we get more rain!

Happy 4th Anniversary to GRIT! We started serving the community of east Texas 11/1/20 in the midst of a global pandemic. Starting with one single client and growing to serve hundreds over the years, I am so grateful that GRIT has made it this far. Thank you to everyone who has helped GRIT grow to be what it is today 💚

SO proud of this duo! Last year, they placed in the year end awards for Poles and introduced Trot XR. Here we are less than a year later, laying the foundation for course work. I swear, half leases are magic. They help the riders clean up and progress so rapidly!

Bubbles! Just one of the items purchased with our grant from the Tyler ISD Foundation to improve engagement in the arena while teaching at Boshears!

This has been an exciting week at the farm! This young lady has been taking lessons with me since she was 5 (she turns 9 this summer) and she loves to draw me pictures so I am letting her make this announcement! Nora is due March, 2025 <3

I am so proud of this kiddo for all of his hard work! We've been focusing on independent trotting and he did *alot* of that today <3

The Eclipse was very cool to watch! The horses did not appear to care but our nighttime lights did come on. Now it's back to sunshine, before we get hit with severe thunder storms and possible hail and tornados tonight <3 Y'all be safe!

When the students have a horseshow hangover, you've got to be creative. This kiddo was thrilled to get to work with Stormy - I think this is her 9th ride. Excited to see where she is in a year!
