The simple question: How much do you charge for grooming? Is not a simple question to answer.
If you took your car to a mechanic and asked how much to fix my car? You’d get asked a series of questions. It’s the same for grooming.
What is the breed and weight?
Short or long coat? Long, is it matted? Has the dog been to a groomer before? There are many variables in the pricing process.
So don’t get annoyed with a groomer the first visit as we haven’t groomed your dog before and have no idea about your dog.
Regular grooming appointments keep the price the same, helps develop a good relationship between your dog and the groomer and keeps your dog healthier and happier.
This chart gives a better idea of costs. Although again, there are variables to take into consideration.

A professional groomer has worked hard to hone their skills and should get paid at a professional level.
If you want dirt cheap grooming consider grooming your own dog. But don’t ever ignore your dogs need for proper personal hygiene.

I’m sure he is happy to be released from the suffocating jail his body was in.
Long hair and curly coated dogs require regular brushing and grooming every 6 weeks.
Doodles require more maintenance than a poodle because the mix of fur and hair makes more matting.
Which means more brushing and regular grooming.

Basic- Deluxe and Super Swanky. Prices will vary by size and weight. No pesky add ons!
(Deshedding fee may apply)

Do you know someone who is older, disabled and doesn’t drive? Do they have a dog that needs grooming?
Can you offer to help get them to an appointment? It could mean so much to them and their dog!
I offer FREE pick up and drop off to the elderly and disabled in Flora and a small fee outside Flora within a few miles. Grooming can get away from people and before you know it the dog is in bad shape. Let’s do what we can to help them for their fur babies!

It’s been 3 years this month since I became a pet groomer. It has been a wonderful 3 years. I have wonderful clients and I love being a groomer and being apart of this community!
