ATTENTION PET OWNERS! It has come to our attention here at Oceanside that there is a website called YourOldDog.com that is scamming pet owners out of money by giving them false diagnoses on their pets. This site has misinterpreted lab work and has scared pet parents into thinking that their beloved pets were suffering a grave outcome. Please avoid this site!

We will soon be scheduling appointments for laser therapy, which can be used as drug free pain relief for issues such as Arthritis, Fractures, Stomatitis, Urinary Tract Disorders, and Post-Op Recovery.

Can you believe that we are almost to August 2024? That being said, August is National Immunization Awareness Month. Whether you are traveling this summer and holiday season, or are a stay at home and hike kind of pet parent, it is important to stay up to date with your pet's vaccinations!

Call today to find out if your fur babies are due for any shots, and we will get them in and up to date! We always look forward to keeping them safe and ready for adventures!

ATTENTION: We will be closed on Thursday, July 4th. Our office will be open on Friday, July 5th for medication pick ups and tech appointments.

We will NOT have a doctor on site Friday, so if you have a medical emergency at that time, we recommend contacting Veneta Animal Hospital or Emergency Veterinary Hospital in Springfield.

Attention Oceanside peeps!

With summertime comes fun and adventure, but also raised temperatures! Please be considerate to your beloved fur babies and do not leave them unattended in your vehicle, particularly on sunny days. Also, did you know that asphalt can heat up to 140 degrees on an 80 degree day? Pets can suffer serious burns on their paw pads on summer walks, so be mindful when taking them for long strolls. Stick to cool beach walks, shady paths and grassy areas if you can.

Also, with the 4th of July coming up, pet stress from fireworks is a concern, so please keep your pets leashed especially when the bombs are bursting in air! If you feel your pet needs an anxiety medication prescription before the holiday, please call for an appointment soon. We are booking up through the next few weeks!

Attention Oceanside Clients and Pets! On Monday, February 5th, Dr. Bachmann will be back on site taking appointments in the afternoons! As he is still healing from surgery, he will only be working afternoons for the month of February. Dr. Krome will be handling morning and afternoon appointments at that time as well. When making an appointment for that month, we will ask if you have a doctor preference.

Attention Oceanside fam! On Friday, January 19th, we will NOT have a doctor available. Office will be open until noon, so if you need to pick up food or medications, do it before 12 PM, but we will not be able to see pets on that day!
