I will take my time to do a great job and to make it a pleasant experience, all around. I am also happy to work with veterinarians on cases to mutually benefit the horse if therapeutic shoeing is recommended. I do ask that your horse stands well and is not a danger to me or yourself. If sedation is necessary, please arrange this with your vet ahead of time. I love my job and want to be able to provide this service for many years to come!

Good evening! Here’s one from today. This little pony had some long feet. Excessive hoof length causes unnecessary strain on the structures of the hoof. She’ll be on a short, consistent schedule for the next few cycles to get her hooves feeling better.

- you can see some serious bruising on the solar surface of the hoof.

Good evening. Here’s a pair of handmade therapeutic sidebone shoes I just made up for an appointment tomorrow. Since I’ve been making the sidebone shoes for this horse; he’s been much more comfortable and happy. And that’s what matters. Thank you.

Good morning! Heres one from yesterday. This horse has had this crack for about 5 years. I’m going to do my best and get him feeling better and healed up. I custom made this Z bar shoe to help reduce pressure on the cracked area. The bar is cut from an old rasp. Along with the bar shoe , I added copper sulfate equipak for a comfortable pad, and I cast the foot to secure the cracked area from moving.

*this horse is well taken care of, the owners are trying everything they can , to get him healed up.

Good evening ! Here’s a little Sunday fun I had today. Here are some overgrown mini donkey hooves.

After a good trim, we’re headed in the right direction, but still a long ways to go. The mini donkeys are much more comfortable now.

Good afternoon! Here’s a couple pictures from an appointment today. This horse has sidebone, so I handmade this shoe to help the horse move around more comfortably.

* I added a snow pad, to prevent ice and snowballs from building up.

* I applied drill - tech on the heels, to provide traction. This horse lives in a very icy environment.

Good evening! Here’s a few pictures from an appointment I had today. This sweet mare hurt her hoof and developed two abscess. One came out above the hoof and one came out on ground side. I hand made this horseshoe, to keep the wound protected while she heals up.

Good morning! Here’s a horse I’ve started working on with a significant quarter crack. I made this custom heartbar shoe, to shift some of the weight from the hoof wall to the frog.

Pro tip - always remember to keep your hands away from sharp tools. while making this shoe, I made a foolish mistake, and got too close to my grinder. I had to leave the appointment, get stitched up , and then back to finish the horse. Merry Christmas!🎄

Good morning! Here’s a couple pictures of a winter set up. Drill tech on the toe and heels , with a rim snow pad. The drill tech helps with traction, and the snow pad prevents snow and ice from building up under the shoe.

Good afternoon! This horse has lower then ideal heels. Using the 3D HoofCare pads with soft dental impression material, the caudal part of the hoof is supported - helping the horse grow a healthier hoof.

Here’s a horse I worked on this morning. The vet suggested a wedged pad - to achieve a better HPA ( Hoof Pastern Axis). With the 3D HoofCare pads, we get the desired wedged effect, along with fantastic cadual support for the horses hoof.
