Northwest Alabama Spay And Neuter Assistance This corporation is organized and will be operated exclusively to help reduce the overpopulation of

The specific objectives and purposes of this corporation shall be:
(a) To help reduce the overpopulation of dogs and cats in Lauderdale, Colbert and Franklin counties in Northwest Alabama by providing spay and neuter assistance to residents of those counties who qualify for approved Government assistance programs. (b) To apply for grants from Government entities and private foundations/organizatio

ns to fund the spay and neuter program. (c) To support the efforts of the program through various fundraising activities and requests for donations from private individuals and businesses. (d) To educate the public on the importance of preventing unwanted births of dogs and cats and thus reducing the number of animals that end up being left in shelters or to fend for themselves and losing their lives needlessly. (e) To engage in other activities as necessary to meet the goals and objectives of the corporation. These girls and guys got the best Christmas present ever!!! They were spayed and neutered with help from NASANA (acting as Santa). The girls are: Gracie, Tinks, Pluto and Darla. The guys are: Nugget and Whiskey. We are so proud of you and we are sure that Santa is, also.

Here are the winners for the week of December 16-20: Females pictured are Ming Ming, Dixie, Raven, Starfire, Alpha Lexa and Mace. Males pictured are Duke, Percy and Banks. We had one other named BD that did not give us her picture, but we didn't want to leave her out. We are happy they are doing well and happy we could help.

***PET ANGEL TREES***

Okay, the last of the November 18-30 crew are the male and female pairs. We have Charlie (male) and his housemate Melly. The two sunning themselves in the window are Chief and Rita and our canine pair are Auzzie and Rose. Since we know that males and females living together can be a dangerous combination, we are particularly happy that we could help get all these fixed so that they can live together happily and not cause any more overpopulation problems. NASANA is very happy about this.

These girls went to get spayed November 18-30 with help from NASANA. The cute doggies are Hope and Abby and the kitties are Little Bit and Jelly Bean (who live together) and Smore, Shine and Shimmer (who live together). We are happy they got to do this together. We were so honored they let us help them with this and know they will live much happier and healthier lives because of it.
