First Christmas with my new human!!! We just got back from my first Christmas eve drive to look at Christmas lights and now all I can do is stare at this tree that my human brought inside.

Tragic news coming out of Coweta County, GA this morning. K9 Titan of the Coweta County Sheriff's Office (Georgia) was shot and killed in the line of duty last night.

We would like to extend our deepest condolences to K9 Titan's handler, fellow deputies, and all that loved him in the community he served. K9 Titan's heroic actions go to show why man's best friend is so often an officer's best partner. We know he'll be watching over his handler as a furry guardian angel from across the rainbow bridge until they meet again.

“PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: November 14, 2024
Officer Involved Shooting

On November 13th, at approximately 11:00pm, a Coweta County Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a Chrysler 300 on North Highway 29 near Tommy Lee Cook Rd. The Chrysler 300 refused to pull over, continuing into Fulton County reaching speeds of 110mph.

The Deputy performed a PIT maneuver on the vehicle and deployed K-9 Titan to assist in apprehending the driver. The driver opened fire in the direction of the Deputy and K-9 Titan. K-9 Titan was struck multiple times and pronounced dead on the scene. The deputy was struck multiple times, suffering graze wounds to different locations. The Deputy was transported to the hospital and released. He should make a full recovery.

The Deputy returned fire on the driver, striking him multiple times. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene.

K-9 Titan has served the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office for over five years. During his time, Titan has successfully located several missing persons, successfully identified illegal narcotics as well as assisted in the successful apprehension of multiple offenders.

This incident is being investigated by the GBI. Any updated pertaining to this case will come from the GBI.”

Audrey finished her first week of school so Serpa decided to surprise her in car line. Audrey also got selected for 🚨safety patrol🚨. Serpa tried to join her but they said they didn't need a K-9 unit, back to retirement.
