Happy Wednesday! Just a couple of quick announcements.

First, as a reminder, Doggie Design Team Pet Grooming will be closed Thursday November 28th through Sunday December 1st, and reopening on Monday December 2nd.

Appointment availability. Appointments for December have been pre-booking incredibly quick. We have very limited appointment times left for the month of December. If you are looking to get your dog groomed prior to the Christmas Holiday give us a call at 314-778-9778 and pre-book your appointment.

Happy Friday! Hope everyone is having a great start to their weekend! Just a couple of important announcements.

If you are looking to get your pet groomed prior to the Thanksgiving Holiday, give us a call today to get your pet on our grooming schedule at 314-778-9778.

Second, I want to address because it’s an important issue that will most likely affect our business future in 2025 and might increase the amount of our services pricing for 2025. I believe in transparency 100% of the way.

Currently in St. Louis County, (if approved) is set to have historical price increases within our water rates and electric rates. Currently, Missouri American Water Company is asking the PSC for a 34.4% increase rates and Ameren is asking for a 15.8% increase in electric rates.

I want to let everyone know I am strongly against any said rate hike and it is no more than a publicity stunt and political stunt within our States Regulatory Commission. The current sitting Chairwomen is set to receive over $16 million in lobbyist funding if all the rate hikes within not just our local utilities, but utility districts throughout the State of Missouri in general.

While prices do increase, their current rate sheet doesn’t add up for either utilities model of what they are asking and actually mathematically adds up to a higher increase percentage than they are asking for.

These rate hikes will not only affect any business that deals with water usage and electric usage, but also customers within the area that conserve water.

As a business, I would have to raise service prices, anywhere from 69% - 76% to offset the increase in price. It would absolutely destroy any industry that relies on using water and any business that uses electric.

It is not something that I agree with doing, nor would I subject my clients through a substantial service price increase that high.

In the event that the rate hikes do get approved, I and my other business partner are currently looking at alternative routes to continue conducting business, that doesn’t involve substantial increases that affect our business model and service pricing.

If anything, the utility companies have neglected to update the infrastructures to the area with other rate hike requests they’ve received from ratepayers over the last 20 years and they mismanaged the $106.4 million they received in 2022-2023 that was to go towards utility infrastructure.

If the State of Missouri is looking to continue crippling the business sector, even worse than what they have. These rate hikes will do it.

My comment has nothing to do with being political, but as a business owner and a resident, who is a ratepayer. Who is concerned with the rippling effect of what it will do to the area. While those wouldn’t place burden into early 2025. 2025 is right around the corner.

As long as I’m a business owner and a resident to the State. I will always continue to advocate and voicing my concerns against these ridiculous and ego driven utility hikes.

I’m sticking up for every Missourian, as we deserve better.

Happy Friday. Just a couple of quick announcements.

As we approach some of our busiest times of the year and the Holidays, I recommend pre-booking in advance for the months of November and December. November and December appointments are starting to fill up very fast at the current moment.

With the seasonal weather changes in the fall. We start transitioning to using our all natural colloidal shampoo. Oatmeal shampoos are great for this time of the year, plus it helps replenish and condition your pets coat and skin.

For the next question, I want our customers input on it. I am thinking about getting a couple different fragrance shampoos to use during the Holiday season. They are not only premium shampoos that help keep your pets coat condition remain silky and skin replenished, but have a light fragrance shampoos. Please leave a comment of which two of three our clients would be most likely interested in additional our shampoos we use.

1) Blueberry Greek Yogurt Shampoo

2) Pomegranate Greek Yogurt Shampoo

3) Honey and Almond Shampoo.

Reply to this post with your feedback of the shampoos and we will start using those shampoos in addition to the shampoos we already use, starting November 1, 2024.

Starting November 1, 2024- anyone who brings their dog to get groomed in the months of November and December will get keepsake ornament customized with their pets picture on it.

In addition we will start offering customized dog bandannas in November. Those are a pre-order item, and roughly around a 1-2 week turnaround time for delivery. (Call us to inquire about personalized dog bandannas collars.) Or at your pets appointment you can inquire as well.

Happy Sunday.
Just a couple of announcements.

First. I have republished online grooming for the remainder of the 2024 year and the start of 2025. I highly recommend to pre-book in advance, as this time of the week are flooded with grooming inquiries and request, due to the Holiday demand. If you can book online. Second, phone call appointments in which I have to address. I apologize to everyone for no voicemail setup at the moment. The abundance of scam calls, texts and political calls have unfortunately flooded our phone line for the last month. I’m hoping by having the voicemail greeting off for the current time, will deter all the nuisance calls. You can still leave a message through the general voicemail inbox. Please keep in mind, current turnaround time for a phone call back or text message reply back is roughly 5-7 business days at the current moment with how busy we have been..

Third, fleas and ticks. This is the time of the year that fleas and ticks start really start to become rampant. I strongly urge everyone to make sure their pet is on a flea preventative. Many people don’t know that squirrels, rabbits,raccoons, foxes, possums, to name a few are common carriers of fleas and ticks. Flea and tick prevention should be applied monthly.

I will also apologize for my transparency over the last month and a half as well. I have been grieving emotionally and internally for the last almost two months. I have come to peace with myself after losing one of my pets unexpectedly a couple months ago. Even though we knew he had an aggressive form to f cancer, we didn’t know it wouId be so soon or sudden, unfortunately needed additional time to cope and I didn’t realize how hard the coping process would be. Odee was my main attachment and we had a bond that was inseparable.

I believe in transparency is the main backbone of any business. I also appreciate the outgoing prayers and support that everyone has given us on that and it means a lot to us.

Happy Monday. Just a couple quick and important announcements.

First, we will be closed today Monday September 30th.

Second, our phone line is currently affected by a network service outage. At the current time we are not getting incoming or outgoing calls.

I will be returning all missed phone calls from this past Friday once our phone systems network is operational again.

I appreciate the prayers from everyone. They mean a lot . Unfortunately Odee (our Catahoula) crossed that bridge into heaven to be with his brother.

It’s the hardest thing ever to do. At least I know he is no longer in pain. Odee was my baby boy and we had a special bond from the first day we had him.

Rest in peace my baby boy and take care of Einstein and look over your little brother (Hercules).

I will be taking some time to grieve as this has hit me very hard.

Cancer sucks.

Happy Tuesday. Just a quick and important announcement.

Doggie Design Team Pet Grooming will be closed today, Tuesday August 20th and Wednesday August 21st.

All phone calls will be returned Thursday August 22nd.

Happy Sunday. Just some quick and important announcements.

First, starting effective October 1, 2024 we will be modifying our days of operation.

We will be open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays. Excluding Wednesday November 27th and December 18, 2024, we will be open those Wednesdays for the Holiday rush.

In addition effective October 1, 2024 we will be open only one Saturday per month. Excluding November 23, 2024 and December 21, 2024, we will be open those two Saturdays for the Holiday rush.

Anyone who has an appointment prior to October 1, 2024 we will continue to have those appointments available to the customers who pre-booked in advance.

Second, online booking will reflect the change starting on Monday August 12, 2024.

Online booking will also be back up on Monday August 12, 2024 , as I’m opening up more time availability.

Appointments, currently we are booking out 2-3 weeks in advance. Current turn around time to book an appointment via phone call is roughly 5-7 business days.

Last, with fall approaching us fast we will start offering seasonal shampoos for the time of year, in addition to our current shampoo’s we currently use.

Happy Thursday. Just an important announcement.

Phone call appointments, please allow 5-7 business days for a response back due to how busy we have been. Anyone who has called from Monday through Wednesday of this week to setup an appointment will most likely get a phone call back Friday or Saturday to get their dogs grooming appointment scheduled.

Happy Tuesday! Just a couple of quick announcements!

First, our phone line has been fixed and is now receiving outbound and inbound phone calls, instead of going to voicemail directly.

Second, we have updated the online booking and redesigned and branded a new website. It still uses our domain of www.doggiedesignteaminc.online. Our newly designed website is integrated with our Facebook booking and with our telephone booking system to give real time updates for grooming appointment schedules and availability. Our online booking reflects availability throughout the remainder of 2024 and into the first week of January 2025. I've tried to make our website more user friendly and easier to access the online booking feature. Plus there is a feature to where if you need to reschedule your appointment you can modify it directly from the website.

While we have our original email address of [email protected], we now also have another email address which is [email protected]

Last, we have been extremely busy this month, booking appointments via phone call right now is taking around 5 business days to setup, just because of how busy we have been. The fastest way to currently book is visiting our website at www.doggiedesignteaminc.online

Happy Monday. Just a couple of important announcements.

First, we are having a problem with our telephone line at the moment and our carrier is working to resolve any issues. I do not have a time table when it will be fully operational. Our line is going straight to voicemail at the current moment. Please leave a message and I will be checking messages throughout the day.

Second in observation of the 4th of July Holiday, Doggie Design Team Pet Grooming will be closed on Thursday July 4th and Friday July 5th.

Happy Friday!! Just a couple of announcements.

First, in observation of the Memorial Day Holiday, Doggie Design Team Pet Grooming will be closed Saturday May 25th & Monday May 27th. We will resume normal business operations on Tuesday May 28th.

Second, appointments have been pre-booking quickly, especially with all the rain we’ve had . I recommend pre-booking appointments at the moment, as we are current booked out . If you call to setup an appointment, please have patience. Currently it is taking anywhere from 4-7 days for us to respond back to voicemails left to schedule appointments.
