Captain has been out having fun this week. He loves visiting the patients at the hospital and is getting ready to start doing school visits again.

Captain had a big day!
He went to Red Bluff high school and served as their therapy dog for several hours today then got burger patties at Bud's jolly cone and got to play with his son Yoshi today.

Daisy one of Captain and Kimbers puppies is getting ready to take her therapy dog test. She has done fantastic on her practice trips and I look forward to seeing her touch many lives.

Captain is 6 years old now and Kimber will be 7 next month. Kimber is enjoying retirement. She lives with my 2 youngest sons and they spoil her. We have 5 of the Tehama Goldens puppies in our training program right now.
4 are training to be therapy dogs and one is training to be a service dog.
Our new mamma dog, Hannah has proven herself with her last pack of pups, they are doing great in training. She is on schedule to bring us more service and therapy dog candidates next spring.
Junie is still one year away from doing her OFA testing but we are expecting fantastic pups from her also.

Update on Hannah X Captain.
Hannah has been pampered properly for an expecting mother.
We went out for a walk with friends Sunday and she met a sweet little girl who gave her lots of pets. Hannah is scheduled for a sonogram on Thursday!
I'll update you all when we see the results.

I got to see Noki yesterday! He's doing great.
Question for puppy families.
Do you want to do a Zoom meeting Thursday evening?
You'll all be coming up on your next round of vaccinations in a couple weeks and it's time to get them on heartworm medication.
(I do not recommended the 6 or 12 month heartworm shots they are extremely dangerous in my experience.)

This has been the hardest litter to see go. Retiring Kimber feels sad to me. She is paws down the best mamma dog I've ever seen. My plan for her is to let her keep helping train up young canines in my training program and come show off with some therapy dog visits. She is part of our family and will live out her days with us.
