The puppies got microchips, vaccinations, and wormed today. They did so well. None of them cried at all, just another testament to the sweet nature of golden retrievers.
These puppies have years of testing, health screening, planning, and research put into them before they are even born to ensure to the best of our abilities that they will be excellent future service and therapy dogs.
I'm so excited to start their training.

My son Bryce helping move the puppies to the playpen. Bryce has be raising puppies since he was a little guy himself. He knows the in and outs of how we prepare them for the jobs they have ahead.

The puppies hit 6lbs today!
We are accepting applicants to our service and therapy dog program.
We serve Chico, California in person and the the rest of the country over live video training.
We train service dogs for
sight assistants, mobility, psychiatric, autism, sleep apnea, hearing assistants and more.
The therapy dog program trains dogs to serve communities during natural disasters, schools, hospitals and community crisis management.

Happy seventh birthday to my boy, Captain Knucklehead. He has been bringing smiles and unconditional love to hundreds of people over his lifetime. He not only serves as an amazing therapy dog he also helps me train other dogs and works as my personal service dog. I'm so grateful for this sweet boy and all the joy he has brought me and others.
Goldens will always be my top recommend dog for families and first time dog owners. Their gentle nature and willingness to learn make them an easy choice.
We should be meeting Captain X Hannah's new little furballs in the next few days.

Captain has been out having fun this week. He loves visiting the patients at the hospital and is getting ready to start doing school visits again.

Captain had a big day!
He went to Red Bluff high school and served as their therapy dog for several hours today then got burger patties at Bud's jolly cone and got to play with his son Yoshi today.

Daisy one of Captain and Kimbers puppies is getting ready to take her therapy dog test. She has done fantastic on her practice trips and I look forward to seeing her touch many lives.
