💔Tonight we are broken-hearted 💔

Earlier today, Nancy and her husband, Joe, had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to their bestest boy, Justice.

Many of you have been in the shop in the last three months and have met him. He had spinal surgery in early December, but did not have the best outcome. He has been unable to walk without assistance since. Nancy, and her unending determination, never stopped looking for treatment that might help their boy walk again. She did PT daily, range of motion, stretches - even tickling his toes with an electric toothbrush!! He received laser treatments, massages, electro-acupuncture, supplements — tried water therapy (didn’t go well ☹️) - they bought him a cart (he was terrified of it) — no option was overlooked — we all continued to support him and love him, willing him to recover.

But, reality hurts - his quality of life was decreasing. His front end was taking a toll with doing the extra work — he was frustrated not being able to do what he wanted independently. Sometimes the right decision is the hardest. Honestly - this one was gut-wrenching as he was absolutely the most wonderful, gentle, goofy, kindhearted sweet pup with the SOFTEST ears.

He will leave a large hole in our family - We will miss him beyond measure. 💔
