Y'ALL READY FOR THIS COLD!? 🥶

While eight layers of clothing might be a little excessive (come on Ofc. Augenstein 🙄), please take the necessary precautions to protect yourself, family, pets, and pipes, and plan for hazardous road conditions:

✅ Bring pets and plants inside.
✅ Drip water from your faucets and leave the cabinet doors under sinks open to prevent freezing.
✅ Make sure all sprinkler systems are turned off.
✅ Cover all exposed pipes located outside.
✅ On icy roads, drive slowly, allow more space between the vehicles around you, and give yourself extra time to get where you need to be.
✅ Check on family members and neighbors who may need assistance.
✅ Remain weather aware and make sure you’re signed-up to receive emergency alerts from the Town’s Emergency Notification system at www.flower-mound.com/emergencynotifcations.
