Recently, we had the pleasure of seeing Aspen, a gorgeous Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever! 🧡 This sweet pup brought smiles to everyone in the clinic with their bright eyes and friendly tail wags. For those who haven’t met a “Toller” before, they’re the smallest of the retriever breeds — known for their intelligence, playful spirit, and boundless energy. Originally bred in Nova Scotia to help hunters lure and retrieve waterfowl, they’re agile, alert, and absolutely love the water! 🌊🐕 Thanks for the visit, Aspen! We hope to see you again soon - maybe with a tennis ball in tow. 🎾

In partnership with our local VEG ER for Pets, we are collecting physical donations here at the hospital now through Friday to support pets and families impacted by the recent devastating events in Kerrville, Kerr County, and across Central Texas.

🧡 Their greatest need for physical supplies include:
🧤 Work gloves & surgical gloves
🧻 Paper towels
🧼 Pet wipes
🧺 Laundry soap
🧽 Clorox wipes
🗑️ Heavy-duty & kitchen trash bags
📦 New storage totes
🐾 Animal-specific donations are also welcome, including: Pet food (dry & canned), Treats, Leashes, collars & harnesses, Crates & carriers, Bedding, blankets & toys, Bowls, litter boxes & waste bags, Flea/tick prevention & basic medical supplies

Donations can be dropped off at our clinic between now and Friday. Your kindness will directly support animals and families in need throughout Kerrville, Kerr County, and the greater Central Texas region.

🐾 Thanks to the fabulous Tollie the kitten for visiting us at Cross Timbers Animal Medical Center! 💜 This fluffy little beauty is a Balinese — a breed known for their silky coats, striking blue eyes, and playful personalities. Often called the "long-haired Siamese," Balinese cats are intelligent, affectionate, and full of energy — just like Tollie! 😻 We loved having her sweet self in the clinic! 🐱💫
