The Animal Services division provides adoption opportunities, pet registrations, educational materials, and 24-hour response to animal-related calls including dangerous or wild animal encounters, animal bites, and livestock or injured animals in the roadway. The Animal Services division also enforces animal-related Flower Mound ordinances and works closely with local veterinarians to serve all Flower Mound residents and pets.

Wednesday enjoyed her surprise today. It was a salmon 🍣 flavored Bonkers Purr Pop and she loved it. Different forms of enrichment are important for animals. It improves mental and physical health, and helps prevent behavioral issues. (She is available for adoption)

Patty Mayo is small but mighty at about 55 lbs. This Akita mix brindle beauty is about 4 years old. She loves to play with toys but even more she likes to sit next to you and keep you company all day long. She’d be happy taking you for walks and is a great listener. Stop by to meet her today. We open at 10:00 am on Saturdays.

Here’s a sister act you can follow! Scarlett and Bridget (adopted) are having fun during their playtime today. (Bridget (adopted) has the more curly tail) These two 6 month old lab mixes are ready to spend the summer with you. They can be adopted together or separately but would love a playmate either a four or two legged kind. They are both gentle girls that are already sterilized and up to date on their rabies vaccination. Don’t delay we close at 5:00 weekdays and open 10:00 - 3:00 on Saturday.

Piana enjoyed the sunshine with her “Giggle Ball” today. (turn up the volume for the silly sounds). This pretty girl is already spayed and is waiting for her new family. She’s been with us about 6 months and is ready for a change of scenery. We open at 9:00 sharp.

Roxie (brown Pit mix), Bailey (ADOPTED black & white Pit mix) and Ariel (ADOPTED grey husky mix) are having fun this Christmas morning. If you’ve been thinking of adding a pet to your family now is a perfect time to start the new year right with one of our many dogs and cats in need of a forever home.
