Iggy & Angus are such good cats. They are FIV positive (info link below) and have been in foster care a long, long time.
Angus, in foster care for 275 days, is a shy boy. He is bonding well with Iggy and we are so happy he has a friend. Angus is young and in excellent health the whole time we have had him. Iggy, in foster care 181 days, is about 8 years old and most of his health issues have resolved since we have had him. He is very friendly and loving. He loves having Angus as a buddy.
These boys can be adopted separately or together (together would make them very happy).

Demi (short for Demeter) is a very sweet, easy going young girl who would love a nice quiet home to chill out in. Demi enjoys visits from our volunteers and always looks forward to seeing us. She has really warmed up and enjoys gentle pets and would make a wonderful companion. She has been in foster care for 312 days.

Demi is healthy and up to date on her vaccinations. She is spayed and she tested negative for FELV/FIV.

Meet new foster kitties Gillian Welch and (Lady) Gaga! These three month old beauties are a bonded pair of sisters that would love to be adopted together. They are playful, happy, vaccinated, and ready for their forever homes. Gillian had an eye infection that has been treated and may have some scarring. Gillian is a calico and has more orange on her face; Gaga is a torti and white kitty.

Cosmo is in search of a home that will appreciate a very special cat. Just like Cosmo Kramer on Seinfeld, this dude is always making people laugh. And like Kramer, he has no boundaries and doesn’t always understand how to be polite. He would do best as an only pet.
Cosmo (formerly known as Mr. PK) has tried a couple of new homes but it hasn’t worked out. He is difficult to integrate with other cats because he doesn’t read body language and lacks social graces. He’s friendly with people but sometimes anxious.
He likes to go outside a little but is not at all savvy — he took off after deer one time.
Back at the shelter, he seems content to have his own space and a little interaction with people. While Cosmo dreams of running away to join the circus, we think he might be a great companion for someone who wants a cool dude to hang out in a workshop or similar space. He’s a good mouser and other than his quirky personality he’s very low maintenance!

Meet VP Nominee, Rose! 🐶

Rose of Floyd is the perfect strong running mate for Otis. Here are just a few of her qualifications.
1) She loves to run, she is fast, agile, and has great endurance. Agile&Strong- She has escaped the dog park 5 times by pushing under the fence. Endurance - On one escape She chased a coyote for 3 hrs. while I chased her. Fast - At several points in the chase she almost caught the coyote, and at no point was I right behind her
2) She has great name and face recognition!
3) She balances the ticket at least 2 ways making the ticket a 2 species ticket thereby appealing to both cat and dog lovers and a male/female ticket.
4) She and I have met Otis, and she knows how much I would like to see him get a forever home, particularly in the White House.
5) She knows how tough it is to be homeless and on the streets on your. She twice was a single parent, a good one, raising 8 puppies I believe.
6) She shares Otis' passion for boxes, she especially likes pizza boxes.
7) She was a special assistant to the late Senator, Manuel Ortiz, making her well know in the democratic progressive caucus. She and Manuel had a very close relationship. So she is confident that she could forge both a friendship and partnership with Otis.

Shelter cats Bob, Tiger & Dega, sadly have the all too common story of being the surviving pets of their beloved deceased owner. What kind of miracle would it take to get this trio to stay together?

Dega is the dilute torti female; Tiger is the male tabby with the white neck. Bob is the handsome tabby. Cosmo aka Mr. Pretty Kitty, allowed us the honor of getting some new glamor photos this week. He is by far, the most handsome cat in the universe. Rumor has it, he has been nominated as a running mate for Otis, who is running for POTUS. Cosmo definitely shows leadership qualities, as clearly seen in these pictures.

While Mr. Pretty Kitty (aka Mr. PK aka Cosmo Kramer) is not my pet, he is an independent-minded sort. He is not a lifelong politician like so many cat-didates, but has a wealth of real life experience as an entertainer, magician and thought leader. He also experienced homelessness off and on for two years. Not only does he support Otis' box platform, but he can think OUTSIDE the box due to his neuro-diverse and quirky way of viewing and processing the world. Mr. PK and Otis are not exactly friends, but they have a mutual respect for one another. Mr. PK's eccentricity perfectly balances Otis' gravitas. I heartily endorse him for VP!
