DENNY is a 7.5 year old, 13 pound Yorkie surrendered because his owner died.
DENNY is a happy, outgoing little guy who loves attention, pets, and kisses. He enjoys being picked up but prefers not to be carried around too long. Heās always ready to go, go, go. He hasnāt met a stranger yet and gets very excited when he sees his harness come out because it means adventure time. Heāll hop in your lap for snuggles but usually chooses a cozy spot on the couch to relax.
DENNY can be timid when meeting new dogs, but once he warms up, he does zoomies and races around with his foster siblings. He would be best in a home with another dog, especially one with a similar, youthful energy. He hasnāt been around kids directly, but he hasnāt shown any negative reactions to the neighbor children. He has shown a strong interest in the fosterās chickens and can be a bit sneaky in the yard, so a home without poultry or small prey animals would be ideal.
DENNY will let you know when he needs to go out; he starts with adorable little grunty āpig noises.ā He is working on his house breaking and does mark inside the home currently. During the day, he does great while his fosters are at work and is overjoyed when they return, immediately demanding attention and outside time. He loves going places and gets excited as soon as the harness comes out.
DENNY doesnāt sleep in the big bed. Instead, he curls up under blankets in his dog bed right next to his foster parentsā bed, warm and cozy all night.
DENNY is up to date on shots, neutered, has had a dental, is heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration.
