UPDATE: These pups and mama didn't have the best and appropriate home so they were all picked up by a foster. Heather from South Georgia Equine Rescue will be helping out with the deworming and vaccines. 🙏 The foster is in need of any dog food and puppy food. If anyone can donate - we would appreciate it. Donations can be dropped off at the train depot. Please call first to make sure someone is there 912-496-2536. We currently only have cat food for donations.

If anyone has room in their heart for this red nosed pit mama and/ or any of her 3 month old puppies (there are 4 males and 4 females) please let us know by email = [email protected] and we will put you in touch with the owner. Unfortunately, they all need vaccines and are not spayed or neutered. The owner cannot keep them. We have some food to get you started. Please share this post. Thank you.

There is a Charlton County Board Meeting that will take place tonight at 6:00 PM.
One of the key items on the agenda is a proposed dog ordinance, which is much needed in our community. This ordinance is another step toward the education of the community and it’s essential for ensuring the welfare of both dogs and residents.
Our county needs ordinances like this to improve the way we manage and care for our pets. Your participation and support at the meeting will help make a positive impact on this important initiative.

At Heart 2 Heart Humane Society, we believe no pet should go hungry. We still have 5 bags of dog food (Tractor Supply Brand - 30% protein) available for anyone in our Charlton County community who needs a little help feeding their furry friend.

If you or someone you know could use this support, please reach out to us! We’re here to help because every pet deserves a full belly and a happy heart. ❤️🐶
