Good morning, Folsom! 💚

Chances are your pet or a pet you know has been diagnosed with heartworms; they are endemic to our area. Treating heartworms can be tricky, but luckily preventing them is super easy. April is National Heartworm Awareness Month, so this month we're offering special discounts on in-house heartworm testing and all of our preventatives (including the very popular ProHeart injection which gives either 6 or 12 months of lasting heart worm prevention!).

If your pet has lapsed off heartworm prevention, now is a great time to get them back on track. Give us a call to set up your appointment!

Just because your furry friend is getting older, doesn't mean that it no longer needs exercise. These 6 exercises are great to get your senior dog moving without pushing them too hard.

Regular, moderate exercise can help keep blood flowing to senior dogs' muscles, get joint fluid moving, and stave off weight gain that can worsen conditions such as diabetes or arthritis. Here are some outdoor exercises for your older pooch.
