I thought I’d share a few more pictures of Rosie. She’s still doing well at 13 and a half. A lot slower and more naps then once, but still likes her daily walks and laying on the couch by us. I also included a picture from the day we picked her out and the day we brought her home.

She has been great to Stefanie and I all these years. I hope all is well with you and your golden family.

Oakley's litter 5 weeks old.

There are many reasons every dog should be crate trained. Boarding, grooming, veterinary surgical procedures, hotel stays and many more. Crate training starts around 3 to 4 weeks of age.

Here Elisa is working with the swing. Swings help with motion and balance, the puppies are encouraged to get off and on by themselves to help them build confidence. You will see why there is a foam mat under it.

I wanted to share some short videos of Elisa working with Oakley's puppies. Oakley's puppies just turned 5 weeks of age yesterday and are doing a few stairs. Every time she trains the toys change and the scents I talked about change too. She incorporates some of the old things and always adds new things as well.

Our Story

Our English Cream Golden Retrievers are from AKC registered bloodlines from America and Europe. We strive to produce healthy dogs and puppies with good confirmation, but we also are very selective about choosing dogs with sweet, quiet and calm dispositions. Our goal is to pair you with a puppy that will be a good fit with your family and be a life-long companion. We commit ourselves to each litter, giving our personal attention to each puppy starting with Early Neurological Stimulation on day 3 through 16 after birth. We ensure our dogs and puppies have been well socialized with people of all ages. They are exposed to the different sights, sounds, and smells of a busy household. Acclimating puppies at a young age helps them develop into well-adjusted, confident, and well-mannered family companions. Many of The Golden Choice puppies now serve as Emotional Support Animals, Therapy Dogs and Service Dogs, others are simply man's best friend and that is just as important to us.
