The Snuggle Buddy Act:
Every household will enact an evening “quiet time” in which all citizens (human and canine) must engage in a quiet, relaxing period of calm. This time must include a mandatory snuggle session. Naps and movies are optional, but not required.

The Great Toy Trade Up Program:
Regular community-wide toy swaps will occur, where canines and their humans can trade out gently used and loved toys for exciting, new-to-you toys in an effort to keep playtime interesting and fun.

This adorable young girl is Astra, she is right around 5 months young. She was found with her sister looking for help when one of our fosters stepped up to help them. We believe she will be a bigger girl when full grown. She can be a little shy at first but she just needs time to know she is safe and all is well, she may benefit with having a doggy friend. She loves to play and have fun, whether it is rolling on the dirt/grass or playing with other dog friends. She is now fully vetted and ready to come to WI and find her own forever family to love and go thru life with. Will someone give this gorgeous pup a chance at a real home with a family to love her ? Will anyone ever love me and give me a forever home ?
Hi I'm Segar! I'm a doodley-doo pup! My momma is a golden doodle and my daddy is a mystery. I am a 4.5 month, 21lb guy.
I love going for walks, enjoy playing fetch and laying outdoors in the autumn sun!
Inside, I love playing with soft toys, chewing puppy bones and cuddling up near the humans for chill time.
My foster mom says I am a very smart pup and I am super treat motivated. I am learning more and more each day (like how to camp and what Lake Michigan is and how to jog alongside a bike) I get along well with other dogs. ( haven't met a cat yet) I am still practicing some puppy basics, but know how to sit and take treats nicely. I kennel up for bed time and am catching on well to house training with my routine in my foster home.

Meet Goofball - with a heart as big as his paws! When he’s not lounging in the sun, he’s busy making new friends and spreading joy wherever he goes. This big, lovable pup has a heart of gold and loves to make people smile. Goofball enjoys playing with his toys and running around the yard, but he also likes taking it slow and laying on the couch – or on your lap if you'll let him. Goofball loves people and will always show you how much he loves you with his big smile and lots of licks. He loves cuddles and belly rubs and is always looking for someone to snuggle up next to. Goofball is a loyal pup that loves spending time with his family and is an amazing companion. Approximately 85lbs and a little over 1 years old. He is neutered/ Potty trained and crate trained. Meet Natalie, a 10 week old (approx. 11 lb) girl from a local accidental litter of Dalmatian/ Heeler mix puppies. This little bundle of joy is full of energy and curiosity, always eager to explore her surroundings and learn new things. Natalie get along great with dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as cats, and wants to be friends with everyone she meets.
As a young puppy, Natalie is in the perfect stage for training and socialization, and she’s already impressing everyone with her cleverness and eagerness to learn. She is kennel trained, does well on a leash, and is currently working on basic commands and trying to master potty training. Given her mix of breeds, Natalie would do best in a home that will continue to provide her with adequate exercise and keep her active as she grows and learns.
With her unique blend of s***k, energy, and affection, Natalie is not just a beautiful puppy but also a wonderful companion. Natalie is SO easy to fall in love with and one very lucky family will definitely be blessed when they adopt this little one! Hello? Where are all the adopters at? My name is Brian and I am the last of the Backstreet Boys looking for my forever home. I have been in WI for 2 months now with little interest in me despite me being really sweet. My foster mom says I'm a smart and silly little boy around 4 months old, who loves to talk, play and snuggle. I love to check everything out. My new favorite place is the dog park where I've met lots of new people and dogs. People tell me I'm the cutest boy and I get lots of back & belly rubs. It's so much fun! Meet Chili!
Chili is an active 1.5yr 60 # strikingly handsome dog with a larger-than-life personality. He's full of energy and thrives when he has room to run, making him the perfect fit for someone with a big yard or an outdoor lifestyle. This speedy guy could be an ideal jogging partner. Chili listens well. He responds quickly to a firm "stop" or "enough," making him easy to manage when supervised, but is working on taking corrections from other dogs. He would do best with older kids because he is a strong boy who can be a bit silly at times. He's house trained and a quick learner. While he does have a prey drive, he probably do best with no kitties or small animals. Come meet him and see if you can capture his spirit and his love for the world now that he no longer has to reside in a shelter full time. His photos do not do him justice! This adorable youngster is Argente, from the Rabbit litter. She is right around 12 weeks old only and will be a big girl when full grown since she already weighs around 20 #. She was found by a concerned man who found them abandoned in the Talladega mountains in AL and then reached out for help. They definitely would not have survived out there for too long. She is one happy puppy who likes to play and wrestle with her siblings and have fun. And is so happy when she gets to love on her foster and sit in her lap, a very social girl. Some of her siblings resemble her and then a few whew look totally different. So we are guessing a few different daddies for these pups. Check out this adorable youngster !! His name is Pepperoncini and he is currently right around 4 months old. He is some sort of labby mix and will likely be a big doggy when fully grown. He is a fun loving boy who plays hard and loves harder. He loves attention from his foster mom and loves to play with other dog buddies. The best thing in the world according to him is doggy toys, squeaky ones and balls are at the top of the list. He was found as a stray with his siblings trying to survive when he came into rescue, and is now healthy and ready to come to WI and find the magical thing called a forever home. This little girl is Neha, a little WI mix. Neha weighs in at about 14 pounds and currently 11 weeks old. She is a typical puppy, full of curiosity and energy punctuated by some hard puppy naps. She is working hard at learning all her house manners. Neha gets along with just about everyone and everything, and even though she doesn’t currently have any cat friends, she would likely love to have one. My name is Sandy and I would love to get to know you! I am a one-year-old crossbreed from Mississippi. I was rescued along with my littermates but unfortunately, several of them got sick from Parvo and crossed the rainbow bridge. My brother and I had trouble securing a rescue to bring us up north so we sat down south for our whole life - until I made the trip up to Wisconsin to find my forever home. I've been in Wisconsin for a few months now and would love to find my furever home.
When I came to Wisconsin, I was a bit of a 'nervous Nellie' but I've learned that normal house sounds like the coffee maker won't hurt me so I'm at ease in my foster home now. I've actually come out of my shell quite a bit and have acclimated to a home life well. I'm pretty small and should be considered 'full size' at the moment since I'm 1 year old. I didn't get out much in my old home so my foster mom has been taking me on walks and car rides every day to show me what the world looks like. I love running around at the dog park and meeting new friends.
I walk really well on a leash and already know the commands 'sit', 'down', and my name. I kennel at night and do super well. I also do really well with other dogs and rely on a fur companion in the home to help boost my confidence. I look to my foster brother as a leader so I would prefer having another dog that is kind but confident to show me how great life can be in a loving home. I have not been tested with cats, although my foster mom doesn't think I would chase them.

This adorable medium sized youngster is Kate, she is right around 9 months young. She was pulled from the dreaded euthanasia list with her two siblings. She is a happy happy girl who can be a bit shy at first, but then loves hard and will bond quickly. Loves to play and have fun and does great with other doggy friends. She especially loves to follow her foster mom around in order to get all the attention and lovin she can get. She will need a little refresher course on house and leash manners, but is treat motivated and ready to show you how smart she truly is. Now that she has been completely vetted she is ready to find her very own forever home, with people to love her and go on new adventures with. Dear Diary, it's me, Ciabatta! I moved to WI a few weeks to find a new furever home, and I am 6 months old. I was pretty shy and scared the first few weeks, but my foster family was very patient. There are dogs and cats here and these strange animals called teenagers. I like them all. My foster Mama tells me I'm a good girl for learning the potty outside and being quiet in my crate. I snuggle with her a lot and give her kisses. Once I felt safe here, I started to play! I like chewing on the nylabones and have unstuffed all the toys here- hehe. Although I like it here, I do hope there is someone out there looking for a unique sweet pup like me! My name is Jackson and I am a strong, handsome, affectionate boy. I am 9 months young and approximately 50 pounds. I love being around my people and playing with my bone and football. I need a good amount of exercise every day - multiple walks and/or a large yard to run around in. I walk well on the leash and love exploring as much as I can. I grew up in a shelter in MS. In Wisconsin, I am quickly learning how wonderful it is to be in a home and working on my house manners. When I have to go in, I am doing great in my kennel. I redirect well when I am told "no".
