Do you have a hard time walking your dog in busy areas? How about both of your dogs? Double dog heels are so much fun!!!! It's so important to keep training fun!! If training isn't fun then what's the point!! My favorite part is seeing the tail wags, and happy prancing. This is one of our normal training sessions throughout the day. This is Blu! He is a hound mix and his some of his FAVORITE things include, sniffing everything, and pulling as hard as he possibly can on his leash!! So we are working just outside of a dog park on a beautiful day. There are dogs and people all over! We had a great day, focusing on duration and heeling. I can't wait to see how far Blu will go in the rest of his lessons!!

Hey everyone!! This is Olive! She is just under a year and her mom is being proactive by getting her trained early! She is very smart and has been here since Thursday! We are just starting in her 3 week boot camp and she is doing an amazing job! This video shows her heeling without command, I fluctuate my speed so you can see that she is responding to me!

This is so hard for a dog!! They want you to be in front of them for most of the time! This builds trust between the dog and the trainer. It's a bonding exercise that will help create a solid "sit" and will ultimately help you in the long run of training!

Can you see the difference!?!?! I'm so pleased with her! She is doing fantastic! She's more confident which leads to a quicker response and much less nervous peeing (I'm not going to say it's gone because that can't be fixed in 3 weeks). As you can see we were working on the sidewalk with lots of distractions like cars, people, pedal bikes, motorcycles, and even bunnies and she did amazing! She is not nervous because she KNOWS what I'm asking if her and SHE is deciding to listen to it!! This is why I do it!! She has come so far!!! I'm so proud! ššš
This was in Aryas first two weeks. She was doing great in my back yard with minimal distractions. I sound like I have no emotion because if I got too excited she would break and yes, she laid down because she had a lack of confidence. I needed to set her up for success to build confidence. So baby steps!! I'll upload a video from today so you can see the difference!!!!
Arya and I swam together. This builds trust and confidence! She did so good! We also worked on distance recalls. Keep it up sweety pie! You're graduating soon!!
In a room full of dogs(high distraction) Sadie remote sits(far away sit) with no collar on. That is a huge success!!! After 7 days of bootcamp she's going home today! I just wanted to share this victory.
