It's Feline Friday- Meet Tillie! Tillie is a 1-year-old spayed female that’s been under our care since July 29th of this year. Tillie came to us as a new mom with three young kittens. She spent the first few weeks of her stay with us nursing her kittens until they were strong enough to be on their own. All three have since been adopted and now it’s mama Tillie’s turn to be spoiled. Tillie is a very sweet girl that loves everyone she meets and instantly wants to be your best friend. She loves receiving all kinds of affection but thoroughly enjoys some chin scratches. She can be very playful at times and especially loves wand toys, but she likes other toys as well. When she’s not playing, Tillie enjoys passing the time by lounging around on her blanket and gazing at the world through her window. Tillie does not react well around other cats so she would love to be the only cat in the household. She has not been dog-tested so we are unsure how she would react. Tillie would love to find her “furrever” home before the holidays so she can spend them bundled up with you by the fireplace. It's Feline Friday-meet Dragon! Dragon is a 5-month-old, neutered male that’s been under our care since July 17th of this year. Dragon was brought to us as a stray along with his two siblings Mitzi (adopted) and Clawdia (adopted). Dragon must have had a rough start to life because he came into the shelter severely under socialized. With lots of love and patience, Dragon eventually started to warm up to the cat staff and has blossomed into a very sweet boy. He can still be a little unsure at first when meeting new people, but with some treats and toys, he warms up very quickly. Once Dragon feels comfortable enough around you, his playful side will start to come out. He can be very playful and loves almost every toy he’s offered, but he especially loves playing with wand toys and his feline friends. Once he gets to know you, he’ll constantly be following you around by your feet waiting for some ear rubs. Dragon does great with other cats and is currently sharing a playroom with a few feline roommates, however he has not been dog tested. Dragon would love to find his “furrever” home for the holidays and watch the snow fall together with you. Pikachu can be slightly more reserved at first than most cats, but once you’ve earned his trust, he becomes a very sweet boy. Once Pikachu gets to know you, he becomes inseparable, whether it’s receiving some love or watching what you’re doing. Once he lets his guard down, he becomes a very playful kitten who loves any toy you toss his way, as well as playing with wand toys. When he’s not playing he loves to sit on top of a cat tower and watch the world go by through the playroom windows. He also enjoys taking long naps curled up with his feline friends. Pikachu is great with other cats and is currently sharing a playroom with a few kitty roommates. Pikachu has been dog-tested and while he doesn’t do well with big dogs, he does great with small dogs! Pikachu would love to find his “furrever” home before the holidays so he can spend them with you! It's Feline Friday-meet Simone! Simone is a 2-year-old spayed female that’s been under our care since June 21st of this year. Simone is a very energetic girl who’s always on the move exploring or playing with a toy. She can be a little more independent than most cats, but she does appreciate some love as long as it’s on her terms. Simone can be very sweet at times and especially loves chin scratches. She has an endless amount of energy and is always looking for her next adventure. Simone loves every toy you give her and loves playing with wand toys too! She’s also a huge fan of birds and loves to pass the time lounging on her blanket in front of a window birdwatching. Once she’s finally used up all of her energy, she enjoys taking naps high up on her cat tower. Simone does not react well around other cats so she would like to be the only cat in your household, reserving all of your love for herself. She has not been dog-tested so we are unsure how she would react. Simone would love to come home with you for the holidays and spend lots of time watching the snow fall together. It’s Feline Friday- Meet Finley! Finley is a 5-month-old spayed female that’s been under our care since June 21st of this year. Finley was brought to us as a stray along with her two siblings, Yoda (adopted) and Casey (available). Finley can be a little unsure at first when meeting new people and she prefers to observe you before she approaches you. Once she does warm up to you, she blossoms into a very sweet girl who loves attention and the occasional belly rub. Finley can be very playful at times, enjoying wand toys with feathers and spring toys. However, if you’re keeping her company she’d much rather prefer to spend time with you than to play with toys. When she’s not playing, she enjoys lounging around in a comfy spot in her playroom and observing her feline friends. Finley is great with other cats and is currently in a playroom with a few other kittens. She is inexperienced around dogs so we are unsure how she would react. Finley would love to come home with you this holiday season and watch lots of movies by the fireplace together.
