It's Feline Friday-meet Wiggles! Wiggles is a 2-year-old neutered male that’s been under our care since September 13, 2024. Wiggles earned his name upon intake due to his inability to sit still and insistence on trying to get the staff’s attention. He’s a very handsome boy with unique white markings, including his white toes on his back feet! Wiggles is a total lover boy that loves meeting new people and spending time with you. He opens up instantly to everyone and may even lay on your lap if you let him. Wiggles has his playful moments and likes playing with most toys, especially wands, but he would prefer to spend his time receiving some love from you. He’s a big fan of affection in every way and will follow you around endlessly asking for more. He’s also a huge fan of lounging in front of a window and watching the birds fly by. Wiggles is inexperienced around other cats and dogs so we are unsure how he would react. Wiggles is still waiting for someone to fall in love with him, and he hopes it’ll be you! You can find out more information on Wiggles in his bio on our website, and if you’re interested in adopting this sweet boy, feel free to submit an application!

❤️🐾 Meet Freedom - A Sweet Soul Looking for a Fresh Start 🐾❤️

🐶 Freedom is a 1-year-old poodle mix with a heart full of love and a bright future. She is one of the 70 dogs rescued from the recent hoarding case, so she’s had a rough start to life. Despite that, Freedom is a friendly, affectionate girl who is eager to find her forever family.

💕 Personality: Friendly, loving, and cuddly - she thrives on attention and is happiest when getting pets or curling up next to you.

🐕👫 Social: Freedom has done wonderfully on outings and with meeting new people.

🏡 Ideal Home: Freedom would do best in a quiet, adult-only home, or in a home with calm, respectful kids. A calm and stable environment will help her continue to grow and gain confidence.

🎨 Artistic Talent: With a little help, Freedom created this beautiful masterpiece, which can be yours with a $40 donation to the shelter. Or, better yet, if you adopt her and it’s still available, it’s yours for FREE! [Note: No shelter funds are used to create these paintings.]

❤️ This sweet girl deserves a loving family where she is well cared for and showered with affection. Is your family the perfect fit? If so, please visit our website (www.fdlhumane.org), fill out an adoption application, and come meet this cutie - she’s ready to live her best life with you!

🎉 Two More Happy Tails: Sheriff & Justice Find Their Forever Homes! 🎉

We are overjoyed to share the incredible news—Sheriff and Justice, two of our hoarding case heroes, have been adopted! 🐾 After months of care, healing, and learning what love truly means, these two brave dogs have found their forever families just in time for the holidays.

Sheriff’s playful spirit and Justice’s gentle heart touched everyone they met, and now they’ll spend the rest of their days surrounded by love, warmth, and joy. These happy endings are a testament to the power of kindness and community support.

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared their stories, and cheered them on along the way. Because of you, Sheriff and Justice are starting the next chapter of their lives with wagging tails and full hearts. 💕

Let’s keep the momentum going! Your generosity helps make moments like this possible for so many other deserving animals.

❤️🐾 Meet WISHBONE - a Sweet, Shy Yorkie Mix Looking for a Loving Home! 🐾❤️

🐶 Say hello to Wishbone, a 3-year-old Yorkie mix with a heart full of love just waiting to be shared! Wishbone can be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s a total cuddle bug who loves to be picked up and shower you with sweet kisses. He’s got bursts of playful energy and would thrive in a home with a secure, fenced-in yard to run around in, but that’s not a deal-breaker.

🦮 Wishbone is fantastic on a leash and loves his walks, so he’ll be a great companion for daily adventures. He gets along well with other dogs, and he would do well in a home with kids 12 and up, due to his size and temperament.

🎓 Though he’s already a good boy, Wishbone would benefit from some obedience classes to help him build his confidence and bond with his new family.

🎨 Wishbone needed some help with this painting project. As a little guy, he only wanted a little peanut butter before he was full! But, here’s his masterpiece, which can be yours with a $40 donation to the shelter. Or, if you adopt Wishbone and it’s still available, it’s yours for free! Note: No shelter funds were used to create these paintings.

💕 If you’re ready to bring Wishbone into your family and give him the loving home he deserves, please visit our website (www.fdlhumane.org), fill out an application, and come meet this cute little guy. He’s ready for his forever home!
