501c3 non-profit charitable organization, Critter Junction Pet Rescue:
Animal Control Facility, Animal Shelter,
Small Animal Rescue, Low Cost Spay/Neuter Cat transport, Maternity Cat/Kitten Program, Pet Supplies, and Walk-in nail trims. We take in displaced and surrendered cats and other small pets from private individuals and from other Wisconsin rescues, shelters and animal control, to adopt t

hem out into their Forever Homes. From the Maternity Cat program, where pregnant and nursing Mom cats (mostly country and farm cats, but also the "oops Moms) are surrendered to the rescue, they queen their litters, and then the Moms are vetted, vaccinated, spayed and returned back to their home at no cost to the owner. To the many, many litters of kittens who, via the Maternity Cat program, are saved from a harsh outdoor life and adopted into loving homes. Critter Junction Pet Rescue works outside the box to give them their best forever

Spay and Neuter:
We host a Spay Me! Once a month we transport 50 local cats to the Wisconsin Community Veterinary Center in Madison to be Spayed/Neutered and vaccinated at low cost.

Grooming:
Our Self Serve Pet Wash is available for Walk In's with No Appointment Needed during all open hours. We provide everything you need from the tubs, aprons, towels, blow driers, grooming tools, and a variety of shampoos, conditioners and colones! Our staff is always available for nail clipping, ear cleaning, gland expression, fur matt removal and to assist you and your pet; but 'sorry' we do not do full shaves or fur cuts! We clips nails on almost all pets at a low cost. We even do house calls for special needs people and special needs pets!

I am not going to disturb his eating for a better picture. A little bit of dewormer, and after today, he gets to eat for just himself and not a belly full of parasites that demand to be fed 1st.
Weighing in at 4-weeks old, no microchip, this little boy was found on the 400 block of Mill St in Fond du Lac.

It was a fabulous evening at the Halloween Bingo event tonight. Thank you, everyone (all 141 of you) for coming out to play. The costumes were great!! Thank you also to all the volunteers who helped before, during and after; and to everyone who donated raffle baskets and items for the raffles. It was a really great night to benefit the rescue animals.
P.S. the progressive prize did not go. Next week, Thursday will be at 57 and starts at $3827, plus half the progressive sales are added to the jackpot prize until it is won.

These two very sweet girls, Darla and Dia, made the journey out to the Cat Adoption Center at PetSmart Fond du Lac tonight.
All kittens are spayed/ neutered, fully vaccinated, felv tested negative, dewormed, f***l tested negative, flea/tick/mite preventative on board, microchipped, and ready to complete your family.
Interested in meeting or adopting? Fill out one of the adoption applications on the table near the cats, and slide it under the cat center adoption door. We will be in touch to get things set up with you.

Two back to back police calls tonight.
Stray kitten #1 (white, grey tabby, 8 weeks old) from Reid Terrace in Fond du Lac
Kitten #2 (orange tabby, 6 weeks old) from the 700 block of Wisconsin Ave in N. Fond du Lac.
There are so many kittens out in the streets that they are taking it upon themselves to ride share to the rescue.
Bed, breakfast, and 4 day stray hold for both at Critter Junction Pet Rescue.

Police call at 1:30 this morning. Weighing in at 8-weeks old, no microchip, this little girl was found on Harvest Dr in Fond du Lac.
She is very sweet, but way too young to be out there tricking or treating on her own. 4 day stray hold at Critter Junction Pet Rescue.

Bonnie (aka Bon Bon) came to the rescue one year ago. She had surgery to remove a severely infected eye. She and another senior Yorki, Baxter, made an instant connection. Because of advanced age and failing health, Bonnie clung to Baxter's side until he took his last breath. Thank you, Hundenruhe Haven, for giving Bon Bon beautiful last days full of love and care. Thank you for facing her last day and bringing her to peace.
Baxter and Bonnie are together again. On the winds and wings of angels.

Look who's helping polish the Spin Wheel for the Food Truck Festival today!

I wasn't positive I wanted to show this video but I think it's good for people to see. With Claire's disability , she walks in to stuff quite often. I used to run to her the second I thought she might be injured but quickly learned you need to just give her a few seconds to shake it off just like any other kitty. Tucker must have witnessed it too and he wasn't going to let her feel bad for long.(or was he)? Lol he's a stinker.

Claire can climb!! This is a major accomplishment. Tears of joy rolling down my face. #TeamClaire

Oliver is enjoying watching Tucker and Claire play with their new toy. Seems to be working good building stability.

Claire: Play hard sleep hard. When Claire takes a nap is when everything can finally take a break. She is learning to adapt quite well with her disabilities. Pretty sure Claire is deaf or nearly deaf. Waking her for lunch and recess. Sorry about my annoying voice but video wouldn't be the same without sound.

Check out this video - it might look like nothing's going on, but trust us, it's pure gold! Claire is actually taking a break from her usual ninja moves and showing off her chill side. She's learning to control her body more and more. She still crys and circles when she feels lost but seeing improvements. # teamclaire #teamclaire

Claire successfully ascended furniture for the first time, demonstrating her developing motor skills. She exhibited some unease, but Oliver effectively calmed her down. However, she began to move in circles, a common behavior in this situation.

Claire seems to be adjusting well not quite as much crying unless she wanders to far away. She explores but has to come back every few seconds to get reassurance that she was not left alone. Tucker as you can see wants her to play. This "kitten" play is very good for Claire. Now she needs to teach him how to stay off the counter.

Meet Claire... Claire has joined Tucker in foster care to learn how to use the force. Claire appeared to have no signs of CH until a few days ago. She is 13 weeks. Yes, unfortunately it can come on later in life. When a kitten develops it later in life it's harder for them to adjust because they know what life was before. She is eating good and still uses the litter box when she is in her cage. Right now she is getting therapy multiple times a day.This includes an antibiotic specific for the brain, running free, tight snuggles to try and give her legs and brain a rest, belly rubs and bonding time with Tucker. We will post updates every couple days. #teamclaire

We clips nails, wings, and talons on almost all pets at a low cost. We even do house calls for birds or for special needs! ~~ Rescue: We do not buy or breed animals. Instead we operate an Animal Rescue. We take in displaced and surrendered pets from private individuals and from other rescues, shelters and animal control throughout Wisconsin, to adopt them out into their Forever Homes. We frequently have cats, kittens, rabbits, hamsters, small birds, and guinea pigs. Occasionally we have larger birds, domestic mice and rats, gerbils, dogs, puppies and exotic pets. ~~ Spay Me! Clinic: We host a low cost transport to the Spay Me Clinic! Once a month we transport local pets to the Spay Me! Clinic in Madison, to be Spayed and Neutered and receive vaccinations at low cost.

~~ Maternity Cat Program: We often take in pregnant cats and cats with litters of kittens, most typically from area farms. Once the Mom cat has finished nursing her litter; she is spayed, vaccinated and returned to her home, at no cost to to her owner. The kittens are also spayed/neutered, wormed, vaccinated, and find adoptive homes from the rescue.
