πΎπ¦· Smile, it's February, and we're kicking off Pet Dental Health Month with essential insights for your pet's pearly whites! Did you know that 4 out of 5 pets over the age of three suffer from some form of dental disease? It's not just about bad breath; dental disease can lead to serious health issues in pets.
Today, let's shed some light on the signs of dental disease in pets:
Bad Breath: If your pet's breath makes you flinch, it might be more than just what they ate.
Discolored Teeth: Yellow or brown teeth aren't just unattractive; they can indicate plaque buildup or worse.
Difficulty Eating: If your pet is shying away from food or has trouble chewing, dental issues might be the culprit.
Pawing at the Mouth or Drooling: These can be signs of pain or discomfort in the mouth.
Red or Swollen Gums: Inflammation is a clear sign of dental issues and shouldn't be ignored.
Don't turn a blind eye to these symptoms. Regular check-ups and proper dental care can keep your pet smiling wide! Stay tuned for more tips throughout the month and remember, a healthy pet is a happy pet! πΆπΈβ¨

Cura came in for a cleanup
Cura π± came in all oily. Mom said Cura got into a glue trap so she put coconut oil all over her but couldn't get the oil off. So I used my Chris Christiansen cat degreaser before her bath. You could see the difference when she was all done.
