MidWest Equine Training and Sales LLC We train your horse to be light and confident for a better, safer ride. I have been riding and training horses for 15 plus years.

I have been in rodeo for 12 of those. I have trained for a few different facilities. I have trained fox trotters for show and trail plus, worked at Delcour stables and Letterman stables. Then, I ventured from fox trotters to racehorses at Bob Freemans, where I broke and exercised the young colts to advanced racehorses. I also broke horses at Cliff Hartman farms in Marshfield. I have trained all my

barrel horses, and they have been successful. I usually sell them when they get finished so I can start on another project. The goal is to teach horses NOT to buck and to work off leg cues with the least amount of pressure. I ride very light-handed and aim to make a "ready to please" horse.

Our Amish neighbor had this gelding that he couldn’t figure out why he was gimpy on the right front. Come to find out he has white line and his medial hoof wall is jammed. We balanced it up and got ride of most the white line and treated the rest. He walked off a lot more sound.

Rio is a papered gelding that we have gotten in on consignment. Hes undergoing some training, as he was not broke, before he goes up for sale! We like to get them riding well before we rehome them so neither he or the owner ends up with a bad experience.

We made a big move, had no stalls, no cross fencing and a mess to deal with but we keep plucking away at it and we FINALLY have light and some stalls! We also got our cross fencing done! Thank god we got another nice day and thank god for atvs/tractors…. I dont know what we would do without them.

Here we have got “Amarri”. He’s a 3 yr old Arabian who’s here to be broke. He’s went through a little bit of havoc before we got him in, so he’s been getting a lot of desensitization. He’s finally starting to settle in to being saddled and bridled.

Baileys first trip out of a pen! Did great!

Dax is now riding with a walk trot and lope. He’s got a whoa, back up anf pivoting right and left. Heads a lot more under control also

Gambit decided he wanted to check out the sand
