Animal Cruelty Investigation

On January 12, 2025 the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office was made aware of possible abandoned dogs at a residence. Road Patrol Deputies along with members of the Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene and executed a search warrant. Multiple dogs were seized and transported by Rutherford County Animal Control. This incident is under further investigation at this time.
