Pinnacle Pooch Day isn't just about celebrating our furry friends—it's about raising awareness for the incredible non-profit animal shelters that work tirelessly to protect and care for them. One such organization is Southern Paws Animal Rescue (SPAR), a dedicated 501(c)(3) based in Mount Pleasant, SC, and Lake Lure, NC.

SPAR is committed to rescuing animals of all breeds from neglect, abuse, abandonment, and unsafe living conditions. Their mission is to restore these animals to health and find them loving, lifetime homes. Working closely with veterinarians, they ensure each dog is vaccinated, spayed/neutered, tested for heartworms, and receives any necessary medical treatment.

SPAR relies on donations from public events, individual contributions, and adoption fees to continue their vital work. They carefully match pets with adopters to prevent a repeat shelter situation and provide a sanctuary for any animals not adopted.

We're thrilled to have SPAR join us at Pinnacle Pooch Day! Let's show them our support and help spread the word about their amazing efforts. 🐾

"Booger" kitty came in Monday weighing only 1 POUND! She was not eating and losing weight due to severe sinus congestion. Booger is ready to go home. She's breathing much better, playing, eating, and gaining weight.
