We had the most amazing time at Horsemanship on Friday. We celebrated Kayla's Birthday and Victoria's triumph of finishing her school work! Jasper even helped us celebrated! His favorite part was the surgar cookies we made of course!

Today was finish up barn projects day...got the poles finished and delivered to barn and we got the gazebo finished.

The new gazebo sitting area looks great and super inviting. It's going to be a great place to relax and watch the horses in the outdoor arena. Thank you Shannon and Sharon Harper for getting the gazebo and bench. Thank you Matt and Angela Moran for bringing some plywood and man power to put it all together. And thank you Kyle Streech for helping us all at multiple stages.

I also can't wait to use the poles with the kids and horses this week. Not only did they turn out looking GREAT but they are super useful too.

First few steps done...cut ends off, sanded, two coats of primer. Now moving on to white coats. Can't wait to add color to these ground/jumping poles.

Only 5 more days until the HORSE SHOW!!! We are getting our show cloths together and putting extra practices in. We found some AMAZING deals and goodies at JJ's Horse and Heart Tack Shop yesterday. Laural Nelson looks great even without a horse! I'm so excited for Saturday!

I think the heat might be getting to us...their facial expressions are cracking me up!!! 😅🥵🤪

The kids are going to be participating in a horse show next week...so this week's Horsemanship class is tack cleaning. Got to make it sparkle clean! Can't wait to see the horses and kids in their horse show attire. Going to be a great day!

CAN WE HELP!?!?

They definitely helped all right! 🙃 I was wrapping the metal edges of the window door with some vet wrap to make sure they couldn't hurt themselves on it. And boy did they think it was interesting! Curious horses, like kids, always learn the most. Building curiosity is such an important tool and it sure is cute too.

Spring Break Camp was so much fun! We made Pool Noodle Ponies and the had Pony Races. Everyone loved making their ponies just the way they wanted. We made gaint game board in the arena and then the kids ran spaces around the board. They raced their Pool Noodle Ponies around and around until the winners crossed the finish line! But everyone walked away with a prize.

And a special Thanks to my son Taylor for being a good sport and participating as well. He made an alien 👽 pony...it had 8 eyes.

Who's the cutest pony in the whole wide world...THIS ONE!!!

Eisa looks so ridiculously cute on her new tack! Finally, got a beautiful new rolled leather black bridal for her...it was so hard to find one that fit. A new Herm-Sprenger bit..she really likes it! A cheap, but perfect for the kids...purple treeless English Saddle. And my absolute favorite part...the rainbow 🌈 sea otter saddle pad. Ahhhh...I almost DIED!!!

Truly it's the small things in life! And thank goodness for the Canby Tack Sale.

Need something fun for the kids to do over this 🎄 Holiday Break...come join us for Horse Camp! 🐎 We will be doing Riding, Horsemanship, Themed Projects, Themed Games, and so much more!

Week #1's theme is Horsey Holiday Camp. 🎄 There will be Christmas and Holiday themed activities. We will get to dress up the Ponies like a Christmas Tree or Santa Claus. There will be lots of Ornament making and Stall Decorating. Will get to leave out Boots full of horsey treats for St. Nicholas' Horse. And of course, we will make sure to Stuff the Stocking for all the horses at the barn.

Week #2's theme is New Year's Pony! 🎆 We are going to doing a bunch of New Year's themed activities. We will get to decorate the Ponies with glitter, sparkles, and party fun. The kids will make Party Hats and Decorate the Stalls. There will be a themed Day for the Chinese New Year. And there will be a Scavenger Hunt.

We know how crazy the Holiday Break can be and schedules are hard to line up. Because of this we are offering two sign-up options. You can sign-up to fit your schedule. You can just sign-up for the Days that you need and will fit into your schedule...OR...you can sign-up for the whole week and save $50.

Don't worry about the weather...we will be nice and dry in our fully enclosed indoor arena. Lunch and Projects will be inside a heated room, so everyone can keep warm.
