I'm counting down the days until Saturday when it's Marine Mills Folk School Festival at

There will be art demos, food, artisans, music, and a raffle! I will have all my fall bandanas out, along with a few new items, like the two bandana holders and a few new car magnets.

Rain or shine, come on down for a day of fun!

Super excited to be back at Marine Mills Folk Festival on Saturday September 21st! It'll be my 3rd year being invited back.

There will be food, artisan demonstrations, herding demonstrations, and a lot of amazing artists!

-Free community dinner by the Scandia Marine Lions Club Food Truck. Free will donations accepted to support the Scandia Marine Food Shelf

-Music by Green Bay Casserole - not your Grandma's Bluegrass band!

-Learn about Scandia City Center Study to make downtown Scandia more connected for people of all ages and abilities to walk, bike and get around safely.

Also, it's peak veggie time so come get your veggies, eggs, meat, and other goodies!

• Pleasant Valley Cloggers performances at 4:30-5:15 and 5:30-6:15 with a free mini clogging lesson in-between!

• Big Engine Day featuring tractors, trucks from the Scandia Fire Department and activities for the kiddos

• Scandia Elementary IB World School will be hosting inquiry based activities for children

We also have many great local vendors! Come on down from 3:30-6:30pm at the Scandia Community Center parking lot!

Happy July 1st.

This months non-profit is Plan C, a resource guide to locating safe abortion access in each state. Abortion is a part of reproductive healthcare, and having safe access to it is a must.

Each month, a new non-profit will be honored with special bandanas designs. Each bandana, no matter the size, is a set $17 as $3 from each bandana goes directly to the non-profit.
