🎃 Trunk or Treat……Hosted by the Santa Rosa Police Department! 👻

Our Paws As Loving Support teams can’t wait to join Santa Rosa First Responders and Community Partners for this year’s spooktacular Trunk or Treat! 🐾✨

This year’s event is extra special…it’s now a walk-through experience instead of a drive-through, so we’ll get to see all your amazing costumes up close! 👩‍🚒🧙‍♀️🦸‍♂️

Come say hi to our pups. You’ll meet an adorable mix of Social Therapy Dogs, Comfort Dogs, and Comfort, Crisis, Peer Support Dogs all dressed up and ready for fun. 🎃💜

Puppy Love Meets School Spirit 🏈🐾

During their visit this past Wednesday, Yvonne M. with Taylor Swift and Jayne C. with Rey were in the quad when a few Maria Carrillo football players came up to say hello. 💚🐶 The players were filming a video to promote the upcoming Friday game and asked if the dogs could be in their video. Of course, the pups were happy to help spread some school spirit! ✨

A Little Puppy Love in the Quad ❤️🐾
Three PALS social therapy dog teams spent time at Maria Carrillo High School this past week, and even the Marine recruiter and a new recruit couldn’t resist stopping by for some puppy love! 🇺🇸🐶 Moments like these remind us that connection and kindness can happen anywhere, anytime, even between classes.

🐾 Wellness Wednesday with Scout🐾

Our Paws As Loving Support Social Therapy Team, Lindsay N. & Scout, spent an afternoon this past week spreading smiles at Elsie Allen High School’s Wellness Center! 💙🐶

Students and staff created the sweetest welcome with paw prints leading the way, and over 30 students stopped by during lunch for a little puppy love. 🐾💛

Elsie Allen is full of incredible kids and caring staff who are building a positive, supportive school community every single day. We were so happy to be a part of it and can’t wait to visit again soon! 🐕✨

Flynn’s Rio Lindo Visit 🐾

Flynn had a wonderful time visiting the students at Rio Lindo Academy! His gentle presence brought smiles, calm, and connection to everyone he met. 💛 We’ll be back next week for more tail wags, pets, and peaceful moments together. 🐶✨

Forever in Our Hearts 🌈🐾

Rusty
February 27, 2016 – October 9, 2025

Our hearts are truly broken as we say goodbye to our beloved Rusty. This sweet boy brought so much love, comfort, and joy to everyone he met through his work as a Paws As Loving Support Social, Therapy, Reading, Comfort, Crisis, Peer Support Dog. He had the gentlest soul and the kindest eyes, always ready to listen, to lean in, and to love unconditionally.

To his handler Elizabeth, we love you. You and Rusty have touched so many lives together, and your kindness and compassion have left a lasting mark on the PALS family and our community. Though Rusty has crossed the rainbow bridge, his spirit will always be part of PALS, and you will always remain part of our PALS family. 💔🐶🌈

Rising From the Ashes
🔥 NEVER FORGET 🔥

Today we remember the Tubbs Fire and the night that forever changed Sonoma County. Though the flames took so much, they could not take our strength, compassion, or community spirit. From devastation came resilience and we’ve come so far together since 2017.
