Our latest addition to the high quality hunter line up is Rammstein (Rufus), a 17 hand Oldenburg. Rufus had a career in dressage with Natalie Hammond, scoring as high as 77 in 3rd level, and has recently moved to try his hand as a Hunter. Bettina has done an amazing job with Rufus and absolutely loves this horse. We expect to have him start showing early in 2025. We can't wait to see how he will do. Here he is flatting.
It was a scary time for us and Kingston a few months ago, but he is back and getting ready to start showing again. After an amazing summer qualifying for regionals in Prix St Georges and I1, posting his highest score ever at the highest test he had competed in and starting his hunter career performing very well, he had emergency colic surgery.
We couldn't be more grateful for the amazing Dr Lanham, Dr Devereux, Dr Hoover, Dr Sturtevant, Dr Mrad and all the other talented people at Mid Rivers Equine for saving Kingston's life. It was terrifying experience for us and the entire team at Mid Rivers were exceptional.
Kingston was an excellent patient through the entire 3 month recovery and he enjoyed the bonding 4 times a day on his walks.
He's been back at work for a while and can't wait to be showing again. Here he is doing a little flat work.
Memphis has competed in a couple of A shows over the last two months. The beautiful 7 yr old is making great progress. Kendahl and Bettina have done an awesome job with him. Kendahl and Memphis are become quite a team.
Kingston qualified for regionals at I1 dressage today, only 6 weeks after qualifying at Prix St Georges. That's the 7th level out of 9. Today he posted a 70.0. Great job Natalie in preparing him and riding only 2 weeks after his hunter/jumper show! The big guy really works hard and loves his jobs.

One of Kingston's many rounds this weekend.
Kingston, Memphis, Kendahl and Bettina just had a great weekend!! It was Kingston's first Hunter/Jumper show ever and Memphis's first time jumping 3 feet. Kendahl did an awesome job riding and Bettina did a great job training! We can't wait to see how this team will do as they step things up in the coming months.
Kingston and Natalie qualified for regionals in Prix St Georges last weekend in the first test!! They are an awesome team.
Croft Original (Lola) is back and looking really good. She's a seasoned pro and an absolute sweetheart.
Morrison Equestrian Center's Budly is looking for his forever home. Budley (Bud) is a 2017 QH mix just under 15h. He is a intermediate ride. Can jump up to 2'9. He has gone to 3 shows and came home with a lot of blues! He is great on trails and hacks alone or with others. Very friendly and an in your pocket kinda guy!
