Sometimes it IS too cold to take the dog out. Those little feet can get frozen with frostbite very quickly! This is good info.

It's an issue pet parents face every winter - it's freezing outside, but the dogs still need their daily exercise. At what point is it too cold to walk the dog?

I have neglected my page for some time. I will try to do better in 2022! Keeping people up to date on new findings and medical information is important. Not everyone has access to the sources I do. Animal tracks are easiest to find in mud, soft garden soil, sand, and snow. Tracking is something that you learn simply by doing! Today is Thanksgiving and I often wonder how many people actually feel thankful for anything. Our lives consist of work, play and stockpiling things. Have to have more or be better than the guy next door. Why is that? We associate our personal life success with stuff. Acquiring is our life’s goal.
As a younger person some time ago, I didn’t think about it much but my views on many things are different now. And that is what I am grateful for!
Aging is not for the weak of heart but is necessary to gain wisdom and grace. Being thankful for all the gifts in your life, even the tiny ones, humbles a person. Loving your family and friends is a gift YOU can give anytime!! Not just on holidays. Enjoy this holiday and be grateful for many things and that we were able to be together this year.
