This 2-year-old wiggle machine is all energy, all vibes, and all heart. He’s the kind of pup who thinks every day is an adventure and every human is his new best friend.

This tiny girl was spotted wandering ALONE in a Walmart parking lot — scared, exhausted, and desperately needing help. She was rushed to our AHS South shelter and then sent to Popcorn Park for some serious medical TLC.

When Willa arrived, she was in rough shape: underweight, drained, battling parasites, and severely anemic. She needed a hero… fast.

Enter Andy, our resident goat legend. With the help of our vet team, Andy donated lifesaving blood and gave Willa the boost she needed to keep fighting. 🐐❤️🐐

Now? Willa’s behind-the-scenes at Popcorn Park, eating like a queen, making new farm-animal friends, and finally getting her spark back. Her future is officially looking BRIGHT — all thanks to people who care.

AHS is out here helping pets of all sizes and stories!
Little Astra is the cutest tiny kitten, found after a Good Samaritan followed some teeny cries and discovered a baby just a few weeks old. But there was a big surprise — Astra was born with only three paws. Getting around has been tough for her, and she’ll eventually need surgery to remove the malformed limb so she can grow up strong, comfy, and pain-free.

She’s still too small for surgery, so for now Astra is chilling safely in foster care, getting all the love (and snacks) she needs until she’s big enough for her next step. And because of the amazing support from the Save A Life Sweepstakes, she’s getting all the specialized care she needs to thrive.

A few weeks ago, our shelter turned into the Emerald City for a Wickedly magical photoshoot! ✨🐾 Our resident pups got to step into some spellbinding roles — Deuce as the mischievous Elphaba and Farley as the playful Flying Monkey — and they absolutely stole the show. While these two have already zoomed off to their forever homes, our sparkling Glinda (Maple) is still here, spreading her good-girl magic and waiting for someone to sweep her off her paws 💛🏡.

Nivea is a 2.5-year-old gal who really needs a home of her own — shelter life is starting to wear on this sweet, spunky lady 💛🐾. She’s a rough-and-tumble adventure buddy who lives for playtime, zoomies, and hanging out with her favorite volunteers.

She may have potential with other dogs (she’s got a big personality!), but kitties are a no-go for this fun-loving queen. If you’re looking for an energetic, joyful, ready-to-roll partner in crime, Nivea is soooo your girl! 🚀🐶💥

Double the love, double the purrs! 💕 Judy and Marla are a 5-month-old sister duo who are basically the definition of . These two are always snuggled up together, grooming each other, and being total cuddle bugs. 🥹

They thrive as a pair — where one goes, the other’s not far behind! We can’t imagine breaking up this adorable cuddle club, so we’re hoping someone out there has room in their heart (and lap) for both girls.
