Meet Kaya, our most recent parvo survivor!! Ms Kaya weighed a mere 2.2 lbs prior to her diagnosis. After 4 days of hospitalization, she made a remarkable recovery!! Today at her recheck appointment, she has gained 1 lb, bringing this little firecracker up to 3.2 lbs. We are so glad to know she is doing well and we look forward to watching her grow up ❤️❤️

⚠️ Heat Advisory in Forney: Heat Stroke Warning for Pets ⚠️

If they must be outside, ensure they have access to shaded areas and walk them on grass instead of hot pavements, which can burn their paws. Never leave pets in cars—even with windows cracked, temperatures can quickly become lethal.

Watch out for signs of heat stroke, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, and collapse. If you notice any of these symptoms, move your pet to a cool area immediately and contact your vet.

🌡️ How Hot is Too Hot? Asphalt temperatures can soar, reaching up to 60 degrees hotter than the air temperature. Pavement that's too hot can burn your dog's paws in just seconds. 🔥
