Spice has been waiting for 227 days for her forever home could that be you? She has grown up in the kennel and needs a family who will love her and train her to be the best girl she can be. She is seriously the best dog and will make an amazing family dog. Spice is Great with other dogs, kids and cats. She is housebroken and kennel trained. She is fully vetted and ready to go! If you would like to meet Spice we are open Monday - Thursday 10am - 5pm and Saturday 10am - 4pm we close 1-2pm for lunches. Our phone number is 972-552-6634 and our email is [email protected]

Our Shelter

The Forney Animal Control started out in a small building with eight kennels and two officers. It was small and hard to function daily and lack of space was a major concern. People began to take notice and started working with the shelter. The new group of volunteers saved many lives during that time. Thanks to the dedication and support from the community and our city council, the larger modern Forney Animal Shelter was built. We are very grateful for the ongoing community support and networking. Together, we have all dramatically impacted the lives of many animals. We strive to continue to help animals in our city.
