Wow! I can't believe I'm posting my LAST GRADUATE as Area Pet Trainer.

Maverick is the one for this, though, because working with her and her amazing Pet Parent reminded me, every day, why I love dog training.

I'm definitely going to miss moments like this! Rest assured, this isn't the end of dog training for me. I will continue to learn, grow, and educate.

I have been training here at Petsmart for a little over three years. Within those three years, I have learned so much and forged some amazing relationships with both people and their canine companions--that is, each one of you!

It comes with a heavy but optimistic heart that I announce to all my dedicated students, past and present, that I will no longer be training starting mid-July. There are a lot of exciting changes coming, but that unfortunately means that I will no longer be the dog trainer. Rest assured, I will still be working at the Forsyth store, just in a new position!

Dog training will always be a passion of mine! I will still use this page to update you guys on my own personal dogs' journeys and offer training advice, but my career at Petsmart is advancing in a direction that--for now--does not involve training at the store.

For those wondering, we are working to make the transition of those currently enrolled as smooth as possible. Dog Training with Kattina will be taking over as the primary dog trainer at the store (and she's awesome!).

Thank you all for sticking with me throughout the years and giving me something to be proud of! Feel free to share pictures of your dog I have helped trained; I would love to see them!

Advanced class was the first class of mine that Percy went into. He trained elsewhere, but finished up with me, and I couldn't be happier!

Percy was feisty, but he never failed to impress us with his adaptability to change!

Midway through Advanced class, his Pet Parent broke a leg! That didn't slow them down, though. Percy and his Pet Parent finished strong, and I think it made the experience all the more meaningful to both.

Lincoln is the definition of a Gentle Giant!

This mastador definitely had people staring in awe at his size and demeanor while in training. He can be goofy at times (I mean, what dog isn't?), but he set that aside when his Pet Parent needed him most.

Lincoln will definitely be one of my most memorable graduates. He has definitely captured many hearts, and that is mine included!

Okay, I've been slacking on posting these... but here they are! The Advanced Class graduates headshots and quotes starting with Kona 🐾

Kona is such a personable dog, and he let it show in his training! I always love having a Doberman go through my training classes, and did Kona remind me what an amazing experience it can be! When he wasn't taking a nose-dive into the garbage can, Kona was strutting his stuff in the training ring and in the store.

Kona and his Pet Parents worked super hard on their journey through the classes, and I can't wait to see what else they have in store for everyone.
