Trunk or Treat was a great success for MPHS JROTC cadets. Over 1000 people showed up for the event and had lots of fun.

The last game Colors of the year. Thank-you to all the cadets who participated in the presentation of the Colors during this season. I had to put the Bulldog BDE band pic in too, it just set the tone of the evening. Going onto the field just to play the anthem is unfortunately not as common as it use to be. Thanks to all, you make us proud.

The MPHS JROTC added another 7 streamers to the Raider Guidon by placing in several events to include a Female 2nd place overall at the Lamar Co Raider meet this past weekend. The Male team was just a couple of seconds off from a 1st place rope bridge run with their best time all season. Great job to the cadets who have put in a tremendous amount of time and sweat practicing since school started to end up with over 13 placed finishes in the three Area 12 Raider events. Thank-you to all the parents who also supported their cadets and came out to see the competitions. We look forward to next year and an even better season."

Some pictures from the GMC Raiders meet last week. The Girls Raider team took 3rd place overall with several individual event trophy's. The last meet is Saturday at Lamar Co High school starting at 0800. Come out and support the team !!!

Congratulations to CDT SFC Aiden DeBuc for achieving the 85% Physical Fitness Ribbon (1 mile run, push ups and sit-ups). He was the only cadet to earn the ribbon at the end of Spring Semester 2024. Great Job !!! The ribbon was present by the Bravo Co Commander Reid Hilton.
