We had a productive day! We confirmed that all the Nubian does are bred except 2, cleaned out the barn, picked up hay, trimmed hooves, and moved the babies back to the barn!

Both dam and sire are excellent with our kids! They have great 'say it once' recall and are eager to learn. They have great off switches and are trained to have low energy in the house. Love to ride with us on the atv, tractor, trailer, and trips to town. They work alongside us daily on the farm, working with varying ages of horses, pigs, goats, poultry, barn cats, house cats, etc. They move goats as needed, put poultry away, watch gates, deter small predators, etc.

These will be level-headed, versatile prospects that should excel at hiking, travel companions, running partners, homestead/farm work, cattle dogs, herding, trial/agility, etc. Future homes will need to dedicate time in training, obedience, and socialization, especially for the first year.

We also own a paternal sister to this litter, Heartfelt Hollow Kickin' Up Dust 'Willow', 45 lbs at 3 years old. Medium drive, good temperament. Owned and trained by our daughter, Lily, who was 6 at the time. Watchful and protective of the kids.

Gunner is an 11 year old, 14.3 hh stout, buckskin mustang gelding out of the Devil's Garden HMA. He was gentled and TIP trained by a trainer in Maryland and was ridden in the Maryland Mustang TIP Challenge last year. He has had approx. 25 rides under saddle, and was ridden ba****ck around the pasture this Spring.

Since coming to our farm, he has been exposed to poultry, guardian dogs, herding dogs, cats, goats of all sizes, ponies, emus, pigs, machinery, and children. He is mindful and respectful with our children and he LOVES baby goats and my daughters.

With our changing schedules, I don't have the time to dedicate to getting him restarted under saddle, and he keeps getting put on the back burner. He will need to be restarted under saddle!

He has good ground manners and stands for the farrier and vaccines. He has been fine with geldings and mares and respects fencing, easy to catch and in your pocket.
Very easy keeper!

We had some unexpected bills come up and need to get extra goats off the feed bill! This may be the last call on these 2. We already have a load of goats sorted for the sale barn in a week or two since the market prices are up.

CH Heartfelt Hollow Buttercup 1*M VEEE91(scored as a 3 yr old) is a DREAM to milk! She milks out easily and entirely! Soft, wrinkly dairy skin, wonderful udder texture with lots of capacity! My ideal teat placement, size and spacing. We've had a few express interest in her available buck kid, but no commitment to pick up yet!

Milk Test 2023 as a 3 yr old:
DIM 363. Milk: 3726 lbs. Fat: 150. Protein: 152 lbs

ADGA Plus Herd. We show and participate in Linear Appraisal and Milk Test. CL, Johnes, CAE free herd. Herd vet checked multiple times through show season.
