Abella had a great hunt today. This was at the end of her hunt and she was pretty tired. Bird came down in the cattails. She swam out to search and found the bird all on scent. No mark was given. So proud of her. 🐾💕🐾💕

This upcoming weekend is opening weekend for Pheasants. Our Springers are anxious to get out on their special islands on the river. Then when snow starts, they love hunting the cattails.

Our Springers are so anxious for Pheasant season to open. We will be hunting a lot on the Missouri River. Lots of Pheasants on the islands. Having a boat makes it so much nicer to access places.

We picked up a couple of our birds we had mounted. Windi’s pair of Huns are fabulous and look great under one of our Pheasant framed prints.
And Richard’s Trumpter swan joined our other Tundra swan.

Allie loves hunting in the snow. We had pheasants going everywhere. Allie had to pull this rooster out of some dense brush after he was down.

Abella had a lot of fun hunting in the snow today. She had to really work hard to flush birds up from the snow covered cattails. So proud of this girl.

Allie loves it when the weather turns cold or it snows. She had a fun hunt today. This rooster hit the ground running. She had to track it running about 1/4 mile. This guy has run out the back door several times in the past. A wiley rooster that finally met his match.
