The Fort Bragg Fire Department will be driving Santa through the streets of Fort Bragg starting Sunday, December 8th at 3:00pm. The FBFD has been chauffeuring Santa, acting as “elves” handing out candy canes to the community they serve since 1977. Several years ago, we added a food drive to the annual candy cane run. It has been amazing seeing how generous our community is when it comes to helping those in need. We will start at the south end of Fort Bragg, on Myrtle Street. Work our way through the neighborhood to Cypress Street. From there, we will head to the streets that are east of Harold Street. Working north to south we will cover the streets from Morrow to Hocker. A good way to tell that we are coming is to listen for sirens and loud Christmas music coming your way.
Tuesday night we will start on Susie Court at 5:00, then we will cover Harold Street and work our way west. We stop at 9:00, so wherever we end up, we will pick up at that spot on Wednesday.
This is one of the most anticipated events we have throughout the year. Getting the candy canes out to everyone, young and old, interacting with the people who support us, and collecting can goods for the needy. It is an incredible way to usher in the holiday spirit!

Introducing our 2024 Miss Shoreline Riders!

From the small coastal town of Fort Bragg comes 5th generation local Adeline Shattuck! Adeline is your 2024 Miss Shoreline Riders. She broke her clubs' record for highest ticket sales! This was her first year competing in rodeo. She competes in many different events including steer riding and hopes to get into bull riding. Adeline has 4 horses, including a Mustang she has been training herself. She hopes to see you all at the comeback for the Shoreline Riders Rodeo in 2025!
