Stevie came to us as a bottle baby in September 2022 and has spent his whole life in the shelter. We're hoping 2024 is his chance to find a forever home!
We recommend a slow introduction to Stevie to give him a chance to get to know you, but he is very affectionate with his favorite people and has been known to be a big-time snuggler. He's selective with other dogs, and would need a careful meet and greet here at the shelter with any potential canine housemates, in addition to a slow, gentle introduction when he gets home.
He would do best with an experienced handler who can work with him on manners and adjusting to life in the outside world. Our dog walkers report that he can be quite strong on the leash and would not be a good fit for homes with young children or cats.
