🥪🍎‼ COMMUNITY SUPPORT NEEDED ‼🍎🥪

Can you help our dear friends Barb and Ron?! These two will take on any challenge and rarely ask for help so we are doing some asking for them!

Bones Pet Rescue in Covelo is hosting UC Davis for another much-needed spay/neuter clinic on November 8th, 9th, and 10th. This is an incredible opportunity for the animals in the area, and it takes a huge team effort to make it happen!

🐾 Volunteers will be hard at work from sunrise to sunset, aiming to spay and neuter as many animals as possible during the two-day clinic. With over 100 people on-site, Barb from Bones Pet Rescue could really use our help to keep everyone fueled and ready to go!

🍞 We’re looking for donations of easy-to-eat items like baked goods, fresh fruit, granola bars, snacks, bottled water, gatorade, and other grab-and-go foods. Donations can be dropped off at HSIMC:

Friday, 11/1
Saturday, 11/2
Sunday, 11/3
Wednesday, 11/6 (morning drop off only - transport will pick up all items in the afternoon and transport to Covelo)

Any donations requiring refrigeration or freezing should be dropped off Wednesday morning!

🍎 There’s a refrigerator, microwave, and toaster available at the clinic site in Covelo, and the team will be camping out, working tirelessly to help as many pets as they can. Any contribution—big or small—will be deeply appreciated!

Happening today. Support our local Mendocino Coast Humane Society and Noyo Fish Company

Mark your calendars for this Thursday, October 17th and come dine at Noyo Fish Company in Fort Bragg! From 11 am to 8 pm, a portion of your bill will be donated to Mendocino Coast Humane Society, helping us care for the dogs and cats in need.

Welcome to our pack Nona Rae! 😍 This cutie came in for her first puppy bath today. She is 4 months old and such a sweetheart. She also behaved herself like a perfect little lady! 💗

Dine out today in support of the Mendocino Coast Humane Society

It’s time for another Dine Out for our shelter animals! Head on down to Mayan Fusion today and enjoy an excellent meal, while also supporting your local Humane Society. They’re open for lunch and dinner and reservations are suggested.

We sure did have a lot of fun in the Labor Day parade! We did not get a picture of our whole group but we were handing out dog treats and supporting our small town events! We received 2nd place for Family/group category.

Happy Wednesday everyone! Little post about our phone situation if we are busy during work hours with a dog we are not able to pick up the phone so please leave us a voice message or send us a text. Also we have been getting a ton of spam calls so that has been frustrating. All coming from Fort Bragg numbers! I promise I will call you back when I have time.

Yesterday we had Oliver in for a bath and full groom. He had been coming here since he was 9 months old in 2021. He is such a happy guy and we love seeing him on a regular schedule!

Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful evening here in Fort Bragg. Just a little update we are booking out 1 to 2 weeks so please call to schedule! And leave a voicemail if we don’t pick up. I will call you back as soon as I have time. We are open Tuesday thru Friday and some Mondays. Need a nail trim? Come on tomorrow Friday June 7th 11 to 4.

Samba has been a long time client of ours, coming in regularly for nail trims! We are going to make a donation to his cause and if you are able I know his family would greatly appreciate it! SOS- Networking for Mendocino Coast Companion Animals is taking donations and they are a non profit here on the coast dedicated to helping animals so any overflow goes to help the next person in need.

Gabby is a sweet girl who is looking for a home currently at Mendocino Coast Humane Society. We were asked to give her a good grooming including a deshedding treatment and a trim up to make her feel her best and hopefully help find her a home. She was so calm and well behaved for her whole grooming process. We hope she finds her family soon!! Mendo Dog would love to offer her first grooming 1/2 price to her new owners! Or a free nail trim.
