Meet Willow, our newest family member, who was named by one of our younger guests after Ricochet became her forever home. We’re slowly getting Willow adjusted to trail life and adding some extra pounds with nutritious hay. Please say hello to Willow when you ride with us. This beautiful chestnut mare really has come a long way and we can't wait for you to meet her.

Did you know that some of our trail horses are rescue horses? We are always on the lookout for rescues aged 12-20 who can become good trail horses with enough love, attention, and good nutrition.

Samba and Charlie Walter are examples of barn babies who came to us as rescues. These sweeties inspire us to keep up our rescue efforts. Our goal is to help them live out their lives in dignity while enriching the lives of the people they encounter.

Meet Reggie! This 10-year-old, Hackney/Morgan cross is the newest member of our family. Just like a spunky, teenage boy, he’s a little bit of a handful, but with patience and love, we will get him trail-ready this year. Make sure to visit us later this summer to see how Reggie is progressing. We are eternally grateful to Kathleen Pead at Hillside Training Stables for sharing this special boy with us.

Meet on of our guides, Alder! Her favorite thing about working at Ricochet is teaching people about horse psychology and being able to work with all of her friends.
