Juniper was so good today. We worked on getting her used to me spending more time on her left side as she heavily prefers to keep me in her right eye. Every time she did things right, she got a break to have a few bites of alfalfa mash. You can really see her long lashes in this video. She has Disney Princess eyes!
Some clips and photos from Juniper's adoption day. 🤎🐎
"Wait, wait, wait... that's all you wanted? Ooohhhh..." - Juniper
Day 10, finally got first touch! After I rubbed her nose she processed for a minute and then decided I was cool and followed me over to the camera and then out of the roundpen. 🥰
Yesterday, I was able to rub Juniper's face with the stick. Today was cold and windy with a cold front coming through. I think it put her a little on edge. Just happy we didn't lose progress.
✨️Official Name Introduction✨️
I'd like to officially introduce you to Juniper, AKA "Junie B". 🤩 Her sponsor, Maggie Lambert, met her this morning and named her. I love it. I think it suits her perfectly.
Also, check out her trot! 😍
✨️Mustang Preparation Journey✨️
Video Title: We don't have a tractor 🤪
The pen is on track to be completed Friday. Possible Mustang pickup on Saturday!
It took us a little bit to figure out the best way to use this "one man auger", but I think we're doing pretty good! 🤣

2 riders up on Teatime today! He had 2.5 weeks off and this was his first ride back. He's only approximately 11 rides undersaddle. When you start horses undersaddle with emotional soundness in mind and building a solid foundation of communication, they can take some time off and start again exactly where they left off.
I always say work 3 days a week for greenies during their first 6-12 months undersaddle, but a little time off every once and a while will happen.
Ideally, colt starting is really boring. Today was ideal. Here is Teatime's first ride highlights.
-first leg over
-"unsticking" his feet the first time
-first forward steps
😴 Boring. And I love it!

Absolute Rockstar, Teatime. 🤘 He was so good today!
Introducing, Teatime! He is an adorable pony I am getting ready to start undersaddle for a new client. He has had 3 training sessions so far and has made very quick progress.
I have some more videos of him from this past week, but alas, I still don't have internet at my new house, so this short clip will have to do for now! I should be able to share the rest this coming week.
Isn't he adorable? He's as sweet as he is cute. 😍 I love ponies.
Take the time to ride bareback and giggle like a little kid. 😉😃
Thursday night lessons, the best nights!
Getting ready for our obstacle challenge this weekend by testing out the new teeter totter one of the fellow boarders built!
