Filled the inflatable peanut and ball with air and got the dogs balancing and building muscle again. Videos will be popping up soon, today was just a reintroduction to the skill.

Video. I used to hate video of my practice and performance in the ring. Now I love it. It gives me the ability to see areas for improvement. Today was Aero at TAKC B Match. I can't wait to see what this show season has in store for him.

When big dogs aren't used to getting their nails done when they're young, the chore only gets tougher.

Tonight I had a come to Jesus moment with Aero. He has never liked his nails done since he arrived at 6 months and I'm used to doing them at minimum weekly.

I've upped our frequency to 3x a week to get them under control for show season.

Tonight it was an all out wrestling match until he submitted. Then it was a piece of cake. I can't keep this up though as he will soon be too big to wrestle. I know he will get used to his nails being done, but right now it's exhausting.

His reward, running on the treadmill and treats of course (he loves both).

Tallulah loves getting her nails done, she's had them done weekly or more since I brought her home.

There's a reason why the brindle coloring was preferred by games keepers:

Last night I let Aero outside, he had been out there for a while and so I went to go check on him. It was dark y'all, I have lights on my fence and it was still dark. I looked around the yard hoping to see his silhouette or hear him moving, nothing, pure silence and darkness.

I called out to him, "Where you at Mister?"

Holy crap! The ground started to rumble with the pounding of his feet. As he came into sight his eyes wild and face happy, I screamed, "Oh s**t, please don't kill me!" As he raced passed me missing me by inches.

The Bullmastiff was bred to use their power to knock poachers to the ground and hold them. My 108 pound developing puppy could have easily knocked me over at the speed he was racing.

It's really sad when veterinary clinics have to send messages like this. 90% of them find their jobs stressful.

Be kind to them, they're trying to help the animal. I know you love your pets and I for one don't want my veterinarian to be burned out because of poor human behavior.

Saturday at Evergreen Colorado Kennel Club Best of Breed competition, Tallulah earned Best of Winners today and an entry into the Bullyganza tomorrow. Aero showed well for Melinda Shaffer and is so good at stacking himself.
