Puppy’s first grooming experience! 💓 It’s so so important to introduce puppies to grooming early. Most groomers recommend puppy’s first experience or two to be a simple introduction to the routine and to the tools and not a full over haircut. Everything is new and scary at first. A positive first experience is a must!

My name is Emily. I have been grooming professionally for a little over four years in a salon setting. I decided to start “The Dog’s Haus” for those that a typical salon setting is not ideal. “The Dog’s Haus” offers house call grooming services in the quiet of your own home. Great for nervous or anxious dogs who may feel more at ease being groomed in a familiar space or elderly dogs who maybe need less commotion of a typical salon. No sitting in a kennel for hours, no interaction with other dogs, no stressful car rides and a one on one experience for your pup. House call is not mobile and I will need access to a tub or decent sized sink in your home for bathing. I will also need a clean well lit space to set up my table and equipment. I will bring everything else that I need to groom and clean up afterwards.
