You might have to zoom in to see these two little tiny tots having a great time today after their kindergarten class. For both little Hank and Piper this was their first opportunity to play with another puppy. At first they were hesitant, but look at them now! It's so important to socialize pups during the first few weeks and months of life and look at how much fun they have when you do!

I saw this sign today along Prospect and College. This family really misses their dog, Turtle, who is chipped and wearing a collar but with no tags. He has been missing since early August and got out of the car in a location he is not familiar with. His family loves him very much. Please keep an eye out for this dog and if you see him please call the number on the sign which is 571-213-1052. Please share this with others as there is still plenty of hope that Turtle can be reunited with his family.

Important reminder! Keep all dogs inside tomorrow during fireworks, and, of course, never take your dog to a fireworks display. Since some fireworks normally start tonight, it's best to keep your pup or adult dog inside tonight too. Many dogs go missing during the 4th of July. It is NOT a fun day for dogs. If your pup has never experienced fireworks, consider staying home with your pup for this first time. Find a dark, quiet space like a walk-in closet or small room, and bring your pup's bed into that area and make yourself comfortable there. Read a book together or some quiet activity. Ensuring your pup has a calm experience during her first fireworks is an important precedent that can help establish a pattern for life. But, no matter how comfortable your dog is with fireworks, keep her inside for her safety and wellbeing.

This time it's about cats, not dogs There is a measure to get something which I believe in on the ballot in November. It's not about people. It's about animals. The initiative is called "Cats aren't Trophies". I don't believe any animal is a trophy. Let's put a stop to the awful and cruel practice of killing any animal for a trophy. And, remember, if you want to see this change, don't just like this post, take action and sign the ballot petition. You can see how to do that in the link below.

Colorado citizens have the legal right to create ballot measures.

Puppy Kinder 2 class visits skateboard park to learn that skateboards are not scary, they're fun! Thanks for helping teach the pups this important lesson super skateboarders at Spring Canyon!

Wow! I might have to up my game and make class a little bit more exciting! No sleeping in class guys! Well, I suppose an exception can be made for elders. After all, 10-year-olds Mar and Maybe, have probably heard it all before, but it's all new to newly adopted four and a half year old pug, Brody. Great job today everyone, and thanks for not snoring in class (at least some of you)!

Just look at these three graduates of The Puppy School Fort Collins. Where are they and what are they doing? They are making the annual Puppy School Valentine's Day visit to the Centre Avenue Health and Rehabilitation center. They made lots of new Valentines today!
