Crating your dog can be a valuable training tool and a safe, cozy space for them. To prevent destructive behavior, use a crate when house-training your puppy, during travel, or when you can't directly supervise them. However, avoid crating your dog for extended periods and never use the crate as punishment. Visit our vet if your dog has atypical behaviors that need further evaluation. https://www.focovet.com/

Our Story

Family and Friends Veterinary Care centers around the dogma that all pets deserve both excellent and compassionate care. We understand how much pets mean to their owners, and how expensive it can be to treat them. That’s why FAFVC has the most affordable prices in Ft. Collins. One should not have to compromise their pet’s health due to dizzying vet bills. Pets are family, and as such, they should receive the same standard of care that humans do. We will never turn away an animal in need.

FAFVC is a family owned and operated business. Although we are a brand-new clinic, our veterinarian; Dr. Robinson, has been in practice for over twenty-six years. Our family’s greatest passion is animals and making sure they live a healthy and joyful life. Dr. Robinson is a CSU alumnus, and has worked with small animals his whole life. From dogs and cats to chinchillas and tortoises, your small animal is welcome in our clinic and in our family!
