We are getting creative this year! For 2025, we want to refresh the XC course in many ways. A handful of guidelines have changed, so some of our jumps need modification, and we would like to add a new bank complex, new corners at Novice and Training, and expand our Starter XC course as well. In order to do that, we need to raise some money! We are changing the tracks completely, so it will feel like a brand-new event again.

We're raffling off 2 big prizes: one 2025 USEA Horse Trial entry, and one stall at the 2025 USEA Horse Trial. To enter, purchase a raffle ticket! Venmo is easiest (username is -kaugars), but cash/check is also great. If you send a Venmo, please put "XC fund" in your memo somewhere! We will raffle these prizes off as soon as 100 tickets are sold, and/or no later than June 30th (as long as at least 50 tickets have sold). ***If your plans change, you are welcome to sell or give your prize away- they ARE transferrable.***

Those who do not win the two BIG prizes will receive a voucher for XC schooling anytime the course is open in 2025, or you can have a $20 discount to our mid-summer (July 12) mini trial. Everyone gets something for supporting us!

Nemo was super yesterday! Finishing in 2nd out of 11 at CSU’s combined test in BN, I was super pleased with his behavior all day. He has had an excellent education before me, which showed in his happy demeanor while hanging out at the trailer. He was quite strong in the SJ, but (mostly) obedient, and there was only one moment of sassiness in the dressage ring. Hearing that he looked great from some of his previous connections means the world to me, and I’m really starting to be excited about the season with this guy! 💕

Working student wanted for summer! Riding 2-4 horses/day, lessons, board for 1 horse included. AM chore duties only 1-2x per week. Great group of clients and simple chores. PM for details!

Here's the entry form for our upcoming March 15th Combined Test! Dressage will be in the indoor, and if weather is favorable, we'll run SJ outside. XC will be open to school if weather allows, too! You can mail or email your entry form- details at the bottom.

We've been quiet lately, only because we've been busy expanding our services here at Redefined... we're excited to start offering rehabilitation board! If your horse is in need of close monitoring after an injury or needs to be brought back into work slowly, we are opening our program at the farm! Our goal is to cater to the busy professional who is budget-conscious but has a high-maintenance (even if temporarily so) horse and needs a place to go that can be hands-on without blowing your budget out of the water. This graphic summarizes our main offerings but is by no means an exhaustive menu of what we can do for your horse. Reach out to see if our rehab program is a good fit for you!

We have a self-check in station in front of the barn today! There are waivers, a Venmo code and instructions to get started, as well as our “count the pumpkins” prizes and other prizes for those closest to the (secret!) optimum time. We’ll be here at least until noon- come have a good time!

Our hunter pace course is set! With over 60 jumps to "build your own adventure" over, we've laid out a nearly 2-mile long course for Saturday with lots of elevation change, including jumps on the uphills, downhills, and flat sections. Three divisions (hilltopper, second flight, and first flight) mean that there's something for everyone- even if you don't jump at all! The weather is shaping up to be gorgeous- sunny and 60! As a bonus, we're scattering a mystery number of pumpkins across the course- report back at the start with the correct number, and you'll win a beverage of your choosing from the cooler!

The fun starts at 10AM, and will likely wrap up no later than 3PM. Let us know if you're coming- and bring friends!

Smartpak does it again- I needed to swap four Ultimate blankets and texted with one of their customer service reps on Wednesday. Today, two days later, all four blankets arrived. Impressed is an understatement! 💕

After an awesome USEA event this past weekend, we're gearing up for our fall and winter events- first up, a hunter pace at the farm! This is going to be our fundraiser for NEW cross-country fences for 2025. We plan to revamp the course, including all new tracks for all levels, and new jumps at all levels would really allow our designer to get creative. Check out the details below, and keep an eye out for the registration form to be posted next weekend!
