There’s a LOT happening at Redefined Equestrian this fall, and we wanted to put everything in one place! 🍂🐴 Whether you’re looking for a low-key schooling opportunity, want to sharpen up your jumping, are ready for a recognized event, or just want to come have some Halloween fun, there’s something on the calendar for you.

🏇 MINI TRIAL: August 29
Our final mini trial of the season is coming up rapidly! Entries are open and the form is on our Show page of the website. We're offering all levels through M/T, and would love to see you there.

🌙 TWILIGHT EVENTING: September 16 & October 14
Our Wednesday evening Twilight Eventing series is all about getting quality practice in a relaxed, low-pressure atmosphere. Come for a Combined Test (Dressage + Show Jumping), add an XC Schooling trip, school a SJ round, or just come for Open XC Schooling. We’ll run into the cooler evening hours so you can get out, get some practice, and enjoy the farm at golden hour.

🏇 GYMNASTICS SCHOOLING: August 31, September 19 & November 14
Come school through thoughtfully designed gymnastics exercises intended to improve balance, adjustability, straightness, confidence, and rideability. Ride through at your own pace for $40, or make it a lesson with Daina for $50. These are appropriate for everyone from greener horses and riders to experienced pairs looking for a productive tune-up. And because we have a 100' x 200' indoor arena, bad weather won’t spoil the fun!

🏆 RECOGNIZED USEA HORSE TRIAL: October 10
Our fall recognized USEA Horse Trial is back! We’ll offer Intro, Starter, Beginner Novice, Novice, Training, and Modified/Training, plus a Preliminary Combined Test. Come run all three phases at RDE, including our brand-new arena dedicated to show jumping and both dressage arenas outdoors with outdoor warm-up. Entries open August 25!

🎃 HALLOWEEN FUN SHOW: October 31
Costumes. Horses. Fun. What more could you ask for? We’re ending October with a laid-back Halloween show featuring two rounds at every jumper level from 18" through 3'3", plus fun classes like Best Costume, Leadline Costume, Ba****ck, Ride-a-Buck, Egg & Spoon, Tack Swap Relay, Pumpkin Pick-Up, Musical Cones, and more. We’ll also have an Optimum Time XC Course—think hunter pace meets cross-country, where the goal is to get closest to the optimum time! Entries open October 1.

⭐ JON HOLLING CLINIC: November 7–8
We’re thrilled to welcome Jon Holling, ECP Level IV Coach, Olympian, and 5* eventer, to RDE for two days of instruction! Group jumping lessons are $325 for both days, with the option to add a $175 private flat lesson. Overnight stabling is available for $35, and camping is free. Space will be limited!

A few updates as we wrap up July here at the farm!

🚜 Big News: The road to the farm is better than ever!

If you've driven out to Redefined before, you'll notice a huge improvement. CR 15 has been significantly upgraded! The crushed asphalt section has been re-smoothed, and the following mile of dirt road has been rebuilt into smooth, hard-packed dirt road. We're hopeful that Weld County will continue the project and complete the final mile between CR 92 and CR 94 soon, but even now the drive is dramatically smoother... especially with a trailer.

If the road has been what kept you from coming out to visit, we'd love to welcome you back!

🐴 Boarding Openings

These don't come around often, but we have two full-care boarding spaces becoming available in August! One of our wonderful boarders recently found a home with pasture, so her two sweet mares are headed to the foothills.

If you've been looking for a supportive farm family and a welcoming place to ride, we'd love to have you come out for a visit and see what Redefined is all about.

August 29: Mini Event

The entry form for our August 29 Mini Event is now live on our website:

Entries are open now, and we'd appreciate receiving them sooner rather than later so we can plan accordingly. You can wait to send your Venmo until closing date, too- we don't mind.

This Mini Event will be the debut of our brand-new 2026 cross-country tracks and new XC jumps! It will also be your only opportunity to school the course with full decorations, flags, and freshly prepared footing before our recognized Fall Horse Trials. Don't miss your chance!

October 10: USEA Recognized Horse Trials

We're also beginning preparations for our fall USEA Horse Trials on October 10, and opening day for entries is coming up quickly. We can't wait to see everyone back at the farm!

November 7–8: Jon Holling Clinic

Our final planned event of the season will be a two-day clinic with Jon Holling on November 7-8. We're thrilled to have him return to Redefined! Registration and a dedicated event page will be posted over the next few weeks, so keep an eye out for more details.

Here's a tentative schedule for Saturday- if you missed entering and want to come, we'd still love to have you join us. We're offering 3 courses at each height and there's plenty of room to add a few here and there. Don't hesitate out if you want to come!

Due to seriously low entries, our UDJC show is CANCELLED for the June 26-28 weekend. However, in the spirit of offering anything we can to our area, we've scheduled a schooling jumper and dressage show for June 27th! We're still working on a dressage judge, but on the jumper side of things, we'll be offering everything from Crossrails through 1.07m (3'6") classes. Entries can be made two ways:

2026 Farm event updates:

UDJC is June 26-28, only two weeks away! Horsespot.net has the entry and class lists posted. We're looking forward to hosting this new format of show and hope you'll join us.

Our mid-summer mini trial was such a success that everyone asked for more dates for 2026- we've picked out July 25th and August 29th for two more FUN show opportunities here at the farm. We'll follow the same format- a full 3 phase from pile of poles through M/T, mix-n-match for everyone to do exactly what they're interested in, CT for any and all levels/combinations (dressage plus one jumping phase= CT by our definition). You can also do a single schooling round of dressage (we WILL ribbon our "just dressage" division!) or SJ, or just an XC round.

We will be redoing our XC course with our course designer in early July and we do expect to be closed for at least the first two weeks of July for that process. We will also add a few new XC fences to the redesigned course for our October recognized horse trial, to keep things fresh and fun for everyone!

Ride times are here for our mini trial! For those with multiple horses, we are happy to be flexible to accommodate your schooling rounds, though we made every effort to schedule in a logical fashion.

**The dressage times are the only ones that MUST keep to our schedule as exactly as possible, or the whole day will be thrown off.**

We are running SJ into XC for the majority of our riders- this means that you will come to the office to pick up your dressage tests and ribbons, rather than staying mounted!

Water is available for horses (and humans- it's safe to drink!) at the west end of the barn, from the spigot there. Please help yourselves! If you wish to hose your horse off, we have a hose set up that goes into the indoor (which we are not going to be using on Sunday) so you can rinse your horse off and water our arena footing at the same time- just ask for instructions at the secretary's office. :)

Update on our mini trial this month: We will run on June 14th rather than June 13th!

In the interest of not overlapping with a similar event running down south, we've decided to move our schooling show date to June 14th this month. The website has an updated entry form available here: https://redefinedequestrian.com/shows

Closing date is coming up one week from today- June 10th! We will post a list of entries early next week so you can make sure your entry has been received. We're excited to welcome everyone to the farm for a relaxed show experience.

Heads up, USEA competitors! We are swapping our event from Saturday, April 18th to SUNDAY, April 19th! We are projected to get a bit of snow Friday evening and Saturday's weather looks questionable at best. Sunday is predicted to be sunny and lovely.

We will run schooling dressage tests with Natalie Hollis, our President of the Ground Jury, on Saturday instead! For $40 you can get valuable feedback and prep for Sunday's show. You're also welcome to ride a test with Natalie if you aren't showing on Sunday- we'd love to have you join us!
