Exciting news re: USEA horse trials at Redefined...
Eventers in the area spoke, and our goal is always to listen to what everyone wants... So we are officially submitting our application to ADD a mid-April date to USEA tomorrow. Area IX has approved this addition, so now we need to finish the process and get USEA approvals. We wanted to get this on everyone's radar before you plan your 2026 season, so we're posting about it now! The shows will both be ONE DAY events, with our pending date being April 18, and our fall date being October 10. We're excited to hopefully welcome you all to the farm for TWO one-day shows moving forward.

Our off-season event list is here! Come join us for our last mini trial of the year or join us in the arena for arena eventing! Or, if you want to hone your dressage skills, come for a mid-winter dressage schooling show. We will run in the indoor arena if the outdoor is not rideable for December, January and March! We hope to add some gymnastics jumping days and other schooling dates as weather allows- stay tuned for those updates!

RDE HT are happening! Hurray! We are officially running as a one-day show, on Saturday Oct. 11th. We will accept entries without a late fee through tonight, and we would absolutely love your support via an entry or two.
We have NEW XC fences, NEW XC tracks, the course footing is groomed and harrowed and soft and gorgeous, there are TONS of flowers and decorations, and we've also added brand-new footing in the XC warm-up. Our SJ course is getting fresh paint (this Saturday, if you want to come help us paint and have a fun afternoon at the farm in exchange for FREE XC schooling after the event!)
If you came a couple of years ago, we've made huge improvements and we'd love for you to come give us a try again. Some fences have also been moved around since our last mini trial, so even if you've shown here a bunch this summer, it'll still feel fresh and new and fun!

We also have some incredible prizes! Thanks to our sponsor Chameleon Browbands, we have vouchers for browband jewelry, Kat Zirker has donated vouchers for horse show braiding in 2026 at front range Area IX events, Skyline Eventing Park has donated a FREE entry to the Spring Event at Skyline for our lowest overall finishing score as well as sponsoring our NEW coffin complex, and Elemental Grooming has a prize for the lowest dressage score! We are so grateful to each of these sponsors for their support.

Our next event is the big one of the year: the USEA Recognized Horse Trials! Entries are open on Xentries and we're excited to welcome everyone to the farm for our best event yet! We had so much fun at our July 12th mini trial, we're doing it again on August 23! Come play in our water jump, practice your dressage test for AECs, or just get a solid round of XC in over our USEA-recognized course. We'd love to see you there!
We will add even more new XC jumps in August, and Sharron Sarchet, USDF 'r' judge, will be our Dressage judge for the day.

We are getting creative this year! For 2025, we want to refresh the XC course in many ways. A handful of guidelines have changed, so some of our jumps need modification, and we would like to add a new bank complex, new corners at Novice and Training, and expand our Starter XC course as well. In order to do that, we need to raise some money! We are changing the tracks completely, so it will feel like a brand-new event again.

We're raffling off 2 big prizes: one 2025 USEA Horse Trial entry, and one stall at the 2025 USEA Horse Trial. To enter, purchase a raffle ticket! Venmo is easiest (username is -kaugars), but cash/check is also great. If you send a Venmo, please put "XC fund" in your memo somewhere! We will raffle these prizes off as soon as 100 tickets are sold, and/or no later than June 30th (as long as at least 50 tickets have sold). ***If your plans change, you are welcome to sell or give your prize away- they ARE transferrable.***

Those who do not win the two BIG prizes will receive a voucher for XC schooling anytime the course is open in 2025, or you can have a $20 discount to our mid-summer (July 12) mini trial. Everyone gets something for supporting us!

Nemo was super yesterday! Finishing in 2nd out of 11 at CSU’s combined test in BN, I was super pleased with his behavior all day. He has had an excellent education before me, which showed in his happy demeanor while hanging out at the trailer. He was quite strong in the SJ, but (mostly) obedient, and there was only one moment of sassiness in the dressage ring. Hearing that he looked great from some of his previous connections means the world to me, and I’m really starting to be excited about the season with this guy! 💕
