We have a self-check in station in front of the barn today! There are waivers, a Venmo code and instructions to get started, as well as our “count the pumpkins” prizes and other prizes for those closest to the (secret!) optimum time. We’ll be here at least until noon- come have a good time!

Our hunter pace course is set! With over 60 jumps to "build your own adventure" over, we've laid out a nearly 2-mile long course for Saturday with lots of elevation change, including jumps on the uphills, downhills, and flat sections. Three divisions (hilltopper, second flight, and first flight) mean that there's something for everyone- even if you don't jump at all! The weather is shaping up to be gorgeous- sunny and 60! As a bonus, we're scattering a mystery number of pumpkins across the course- report back at the start with the correct number, and you'll win a beverage of your choosing from the cooler!

The fun starts at 10AM, and will likely wrap up no later than 3PM. Let us know if you're coming- and bring friends!

Smartpak does it again- I needed to swap four Ultimate blankets and texted with one of their customer service reps on Wednesday. Today, two days later, all four blankets arrived. Impressed is an understatement! 💕

After an awesome USEA event this past weekend, we're gearing up for our fall and winter events- first up, a hunter pace at the farm! This is going to be our fundraiser for NEW cross-country fences for 2025. We plan to revamp the course, including all new tracks for all levels, and new jumps at all levels would really allow our designer to get creative. Check out the details below, and keep an eye out for the registration form to be posted next weekend!

Today is THE LAST DAY to sign up for our USEA Horse Trials. We are so excited to welcome you to the farm, and the ribbons and prizes are all coming together beautifully. We will have special awards for best dressage, horsemanship, turnout, and more- don’t miss out!

This is a gentle reminder that today is closing day for our USEA horse trials. We are highly unlikely to run again after this year, so if you want to get an RDE ribbon, this is your chance to win one- we will ribbon each division fully, no matter if there are 3 riders or 15, with prizes through third place and special ribbons for highest placed ISH, the Arturo award, best dressage, and more. We will have the option to enter late, with a late fee of $25, if you really can’t make up your mind today, too.

Saturday update on USEA entries: we don’t have enough (yet) but I am optimistic we will get there based on the people who have said they’re coming. The show is a go- but please send your entries as soon as you can… it makes your organizer and team much saner! The more entries we get before closing day, the more fun, prizes and fancy ribbons I can promise everyone.

We will also have a work weekend before the show, on Oct 5/6! We will be staining or painting XC fences, making any minor repairs to SJ fences, setting up the indoor dressage arena, etc.- I would love any available hands to help! I’m happy to offer free XC schooling after the show to anyone who can come help, even if for just an hour. Many hands make light work, and I can promise fun and laughs, even if I can’t promise good weather.

It’s here! Opening day for the USEA HT, running October 12&13!

A few important reminders:
1. We are only running over 2 days, not 3. Dressage and XC Saturday, SJ on Sunday. Hopefully this helps folks who are limited in days off from work!
2. If you enter TODAY and need stabling you will be entered in the drawing to have one of three 12x16 stalls. All others are 12x12.
3. We will have schooling dressage rounds on Friday, October 11 in the INDOOR ring- this gives you a chance to acclimate your horse to the indoor before show day on Saturday. We will run at least half of the dressage inside this year!
4. We are still looking for a few sponsors- details can be found in a recent prior post and are affordable ways to advertise!

Today is closing day for our mini trial that is THIS Saturday! Get those entries emailed over! The entry form is on our website, under the “shows” tab.

Tomorrow is our USEA opening date- and after this weekend’s mini trial, our XC will NOT be open to schooling as we prepare for the fall horse trial. Get those mini trial entries in if you want to have a last chance to practice for the recognized event!

There’s a new girl in town, and her name is Jellybean. 💕 It’s been a minute or two since I said yes to a horse for myself, that’s simply here for me to partner with to chase dreams and goals with; one that isn’t a resale project or a client horse… so with the massive amount of loss and grief and crap that’s hit this year, it just seemed like the right time. Sometimes there’s just something about a certain horse that hits differently- and she’s got that “thing” about her.

Gold includes an XC fence banner for our 2024 USEA event and 2025 mini-trials, program listing, and options for half-page or quarter-page program advertising. Pricing is $100-$150, pending your program advertisement preferences.

Silver includes a show jump with name/logo placement for the 2024 USEA event and 2025 mini trials, program listing, and options for quarter-page advertising. Pricing is $60-$80, pending your program advertisement preferences.

Bronze includes a program mention, with options for quarter-page ads. Pricing is $30-$50 for this level.

Jumper night is Thursday, Aug 22! We have fillers, new footing, and we’re planning on using a new dedicated warmup area- come play for $15/round! Starting at 4:30 PM with crossrails.
